oh and btw, is there a start date we have to begin at?

With the Brazil and Irish leagues selected, there's an option to start on December 2005 and January 2006. Would I be able to start from one of those points?

Australia
Brazil
Ireland
Mexico
South Africa
South Korea
Spain
Sweden

New Zealand doesnt appear to be a playable league so that was out.

Once it has loaded up I will have a scan through the tournements to check that they are all available. (I really should be working but )

You need an Asian league whose clubs participates in the AFC Challenge Cup (both Australian and South Korean teams go into the CL) - Singapore/Malaysia are the only two that qualify for the South East Asian Club Championship too. </BLOCKQUOTE>

If that's right I better change my list too:

Australia (A League)
Brazil (First + Second Division)
Denmark (Premier + First Division)
Ireland (Premier + First Division)
Italy (Serie A + B)
Mexico (First Division + First Division A)
Singapore (S-League)
South Africa (Premier + First Division)

that will explain why I couldnt find the AFC Cup/Challenge Cup then.

I will switch my South Korea team to Malaysia

Did a quick test with:

Argentina
Australia
England
Ireland
Mexico
Singapore
South Africa
Sweden ( all top divisions, small DB)

Started with Feb 06 Singapore date, applied for several jobs and got the Bohemians one. Started unemployed, with Malaysian nationality, Auto experience (somehow got National rep, was overlooked by all the big teams in S.Africa/Argentina and even Woodlands of Singapore anyway).

Seems good

Well using the above countries gives me the AFF Club Championship but loses the S.E.Asia Club Champs.

Will have another go.

So I've started the game, here's the leagues I selected:

Australia (A League)
Brazil (First + Second Division)
Denmark (Premier + First Division)
Ireland (Premier + First Division)
Italy (Serie A + B)
Mexico (First Division + First Division A)
Singapore (S-League)
South Africa (Premier + First Division)

I applied for all the available jobs, and the next day Woodlands of Singapore offered me a two year contract, which I accepted.

One query Evertonbloke - when you mean no experience, do you mean Automatic?
Sorry I thought there was an option to have no experience. Thats what no FM for a month does to you!

Pick the option with the least experience, I think that would be sunday league or something, its hard for my brain to remember.

Any advice on the least experience starting position would be apreciated

It's automatic, which I think is the equivalent of not knowing what a football looks like...

Start when you like, I was planing on using the brazil league to get a few months head start on anyone starting in England!
