League 2 Promotion Challenge for FM2008 - any Interest?
Hey all. Just checking to see if there is any interest in this challenge - Take control of an English League 2 side (preferably a mid-table or relegation-potential side) and try to gain promotion. Once you do so (or get sacked), resign at the end of the season and take control of one of the sides gaining promotion to League 2 from the Conference. Try to do the same and continue in this fashion to see how well you do. This is just a feeler at this point to gauge interest levels. Let me know what you think!

I think most people are intent on doing one of the ecisting "big 3" challenges, (dafuge's, Gundo's or San Marino).
Winning the same league again over and over seems a little repetative if you want my honest opinion.

I thought that it might be an interesting change of pace, especially for managers like me who LOVE the lower leagues. Plus, if you build a rapport with certain players, you can always bring them into your new side. Happens here a lot in the states with American Football when coaches change teams - they bring some of their old players with them.

Only team from League 2 that i'd be remotely interested in managing would be my birth place team Darlington

I think it would be a bit boring tbh. Just for being in the same league overand over.
