Danny's One Season Signing Challenge!!!

I saw a challenge a bit like this on another website but have altered it a bit to make it more intresting.

I am going to start this challenge when FM08 comes out fully.

The rules will be just the regular 'no cheating' ones.

Except...

You need to take charge of a team in the Prem (Except the top 4, Man United - Arsenal - Liverpool - Chelsea) and try to make them win the Prem and Champions League within 5 years.

But...

You can only make signings in the first transfer window. (From the start date to the 31st of August) After that, the squad you have must not be added to for the full five years. You need to sign players to fill the gaps short term and the young teenage superstars to come good a season or two through.

You need to post a screenshot of your profile on the starting day. (You can have your past reputation set to anything you like.)

How to Post a Screenshot

1. While in FM, press the 'Prt Sc' button (usually next to F12 on your keyboard).

2. Open an image editing program such as Paint and paste the image

3. Save the file as a JPEG

4. Upload the image to an image hosting website such as Photobucket or Imageshack

5. Post the direct Url to the image here.

That is it I think. If there is anything I have forgotten just ask me.

Oh, and you need to have English leagues running down to League 1 and whatever other leagues you like.

And no Genie Scout.

Could make for quite an interesting challenge. :thup:

I'd say the key would be to sign a few more experienced players to help you through the first few seasons and a few real young talents for the future.

You'd have a big task at the start deciding who you could sell at the start.

Depends really. :thup:

I suppose most will be trying the 3 big challenges.

dafuge's, Gundo's and Ter's.

They're my first 3 to try, in that order too but after that I'd be happy to give it a go. :thup:
