[quote]End of Season 2012/2013 Shane Hall
Another slightly dissapointing season for Shane Hall, who did manage to make more appearances for United this season, however, is still only considered as a rotation player. He did manage 13 full league starts, and managed to find the net 4 times as United improve on last season's awful performance, moving up to 5th in the league, still missing out on the vital Champions League football. After Ronaldo left, the fight for the MR spot is between Benavente and Hall, and Hall looks to be winning at the moment. Still without a full England cap. Lucas Marcelo Cedermaz
A stunning season for Cedermaz, as he managed to cement a first team place at Anfield, and rewarded Liverpool, by scoring 16 league goals, in the title winning season, as Liverpool cruised to 1st place by 16 points from 2nd placed Portsmouth, to win the title for the first time in 5 years. Cedermaz is on a huge £68,000 a week after getting his 3rd pay rise inside 2 years. His form for Argentina carried on, where his total is now 5 goals from 12 games. David Frketic
After 7 years at Atletico, Frketic has finally set himself in the first team, but once again, Frketic missed large periods of the season through injury. This limited Frketic to 29 league appearances as Atletico finished 2nd in La Liga. Frketic even managed to bag himself a goal this season. He will obviously want to try and stay injury free next season, and maybe play a big role in Atletico's push for the title. He has played 35 times for his country, and has never added to the 2 goals he scored in his first game. Pedromandias
Pedromandias was involved in the biggest transfer of the winter transfer window, making a £32 million move back to his former club Chelsea from Munchen, after other huge bids from Inter, Milan and another bumper contract from Munchen. After an awful start to the season, Pedromandias helped Chelsea claim 4th place, although they'll miss out on the Champions League due to surprise package Everton winning it. Pedro played 13 league games since January, managing to find the net once. He has played 11 times for Portugal, scoring once Christian Montoni
This was surely, on a personal level, the best season Montoni has had. Unfortunetly for Udinese, they finished way back in 14th in Serie A, but Montoni found his goalscoring touch, banging in 19 goals in 36 league appearances, averaging more than 1 every 2 games. This prompted Udinese to offer him a lucrative contract, to fend off the big European clubs, and he is now on £39,500, the highest paid player at Udinese. They did however, go on a superb Euro run, finally losing in the semi finals to Real Betis, losing 3-1 on aggregate. Still hasen't found the net in over 40 international appearances, although all of San Marino has not scored in 43 winless games. In Der Van Dude
This was In Der Van Dude's first season away from Sevilla, and what a solid season, which people have become to expect, it was. He played 32 games for Juventus, after his £5.75 million move, which looks a great bit of business, as he found the net twice and gained 3 MOTM appearances as Juve finished in 3rd place, and also went to the final of the Champions League, where they lost 1-0 to Everton. a game where Dude rated an 8. He has made 24 caps for his native Holland, scoring 0. Ben Chia
Another member of the Juventus squad, Chia played only 10 league games, although he started more towards the end of the season, he'll be disappointed with the lack of games. He did however in these 8 games, manage to find the net, gain an assist, and get a MOTM award. He also played in the champions league final with In Der Van Dude, but failed to get a winner's medal. He added to his international caps, taking him up to 25, with 1 goal. (See IDVD for more info on Juve) Dean Hoo
Still at Lazio, but for how much longer? Lazio finished in a disappointing 11th place, after being tipped to challenge for the title by the media. Hoo has never really been a full team regualar for Lazio, and despite 7 years here, is still considered a squad rotation player. Big teams have picked up on this, and Real Madrid, Portsmouth and Atletico have all made bids over £10million for the 9 time capped Italian. Will this be the season he finally moves on from the Olimpico? Ryan Andrews
Ryan Andrews really star-ed in Tottenham's great league place this season, getting into double figures, cementing himself in the first team and playing 35 league games as the Spurs finished in a superb 3rd place, securing CL football, after being tipped to scrape into Europe. In a team with Berbatov, Keane and Scott Sinclair, it is not an easy feat getting into this team. Andrews also scored 7 times in Tottenham's Champions League adventure, where they lost to Milan in the Quarter Finals. Goldenballs
A really disappointing season for Goldenballs, playing only 2 league games for Chelsea. Despite this he still managed to find the net once, and looked to be heading for a run in the team, before torn knee ligaments meant he was ruled out for a long time, where he now finds himself back in the Stamford Bridge Reserves. Must be looking for a way out of London so he can play first team football. Screenshots to follow with Transfer Window Update |
