Hello, just a quick question you may be able to help with...

Am interested in doing the challenge in 08 and was wondering whether by default every promoted team is unmanaged, and if your application ever gets rejected?

What happens is you holiday until 19th June 2008. Then when the promotions happen a day later you simply create a new profile and take over the club of your choice.

Most of the teams come in with current managers so the safest way is to just create a new profile, make your first one something like Holiday man and just retire it after you have created the new one.

Good ole holiday man.

On the 19th you save and keep it "safe" and then go ahead 1 day. If you find a team you like, retire holiday man and make a new profile.

If you don't like the teams (for example being over 1000 reputation and too easy) then reload the save.

The dafuge thread and the Gundo are two of the friendliest and often used threads in the whole forum.

Anything you ask in either of them will be generally known by someone.
