I searched for Patrik Burda but I couldn't find him. He could come up later on after some scouting missions!

Just signed a big lad to be our target man and he's stands 6f 5 tall! Has a heading ability of 10 and a jumping attribute of 17. He's just scored two goals on his debut, also winning 24 headers out of a possible 26. This guy will be a good partner for Burda me thinks.
A not bad start! Good luck with your Target Man, sounds promising. </BLOCKQUOTE>

He had a phenomenal debut, dominated everyone in the air, looked sharp in the box. Think he managed 10 shots! However only a couple where on target, maybe once he finds his feet.

I'm sure Burda will pop up one day.

As I was telling cookie earlier there might be more young "Burda's" out their in Scandinavia. There do seem to be more young players than any other nation i've played in before.

Cheers mate. I'm just adjusting to managing outside of the Uk to be honest at the moment. It certainly is a challenge so far.

I'm thoroughly enjoying every minute of it.

I'm off work for two days now so I can get my head down and crack on with it some more.

Have you made any notable signings to speak of?

Currently holidaying for a job in Croatia right now...

It's gonna be a nice challenge to pass in front of Hajduk and Dinamo to get to the European Competitions...

Pierikos 2007-2008 Mid-Season Update

I made a pretty good start to the season and reached the dizzy hights of 5th place at one point and was only 3 points of a promotion place.

However, a run of games against the top teams and a pretty bad injury crisis to my strikers (which left me to pick my 4th and 6th choice strikers for 4 games running) brought me down to earth. As you can see on the table we are sitting quiete comfortably in mid-table and are 8 points off the drop zone.

The best signing I made was a left winger I got on loan from Iraklis. He is by far the best player in the squad, although I have a pretty good midfielder that is attracting attention from Superleague sides. Here is the profile of my left winger:

I also started my brazilian influence on the club by signign a 30 year old brazilian centre back who is by far my best defender. I am also currently chasing a 19 year old brazilian striker that plays for Palmeiras. They are insisting on a signing on fee though, which i dont want as i think i could sell him for good money in the future.

I think I ll be able to stay in this league quite easily and maybe with a couple of good signings in the summer i ll be able to get Pierikos to the top half of the table next year

Good luck with Metalac mate, it will be quite hard to knock off Dinamo and Hajduk. It reminds me that I ll have to be better than Olympiakos, AEK and Panathinaikos which is going to be damn hard!! Bring it on..
