Rep Power: 3 | Lisburn Rangers. N.Irish Premiership Oct 2011. The Ballymena just scored an 88th minute equaliser against me. A bloomin header from a corner, just as I said to myself, "I dunno why they bother. They never score".
Centre-half Mullan has scored 6 goals in 10 games this season as we only lose 1 of our opening 11 games. The solitary loss was against the mighty Linfield in the League Cup as we fielded a weakened team. Despite that loss we will face Crusaders in the final in a couple of weeks time. The Cup itself isn't that big a deal, (despite the fact that we are defending Champions), but the winner qualifies for the All Ireland Cup, (I think), which is worth about £250,000 before gate receipts.
We are playing really well but just not finishing teams off. Our Target Man, Col is doing the business but I can't fins a support striker who can get the goals.
We now find ourselves in extra time in the Micky Mouse Antrim Cup with all 3 subs used and with a team consisting of not 1 single regular starter .

Rep Power: 3 | We collect our 7th trophy.
More importantly, we should be entered into the group stages of this season All Ireland Cup .

It's quite impressive that you managed to get to the top league so fast, do you reckon your squad will cope in the First Division?
| I think I got lucky with the Capon signing and that he gelled so quickly with Mahieu up front.
With only 2 teams going down and I suspect that there's a relegation playoff involved and with a £1M transfer budget and a huge wage budget then survival will be possible with some good signings.
As I can now scout Europe I have managed to get my first foreign signings. Most of the budget has been spent on a Serbian pair DC and AMR, which bolsters my weakest positions.
The DC will eventually be captain next season when he can speak French. I've also got a Brazilian DMC who looks pretty good and 3 loan signings who add more quality and depth to the squad. My chairman certainly was impressed with the signing of the DC and hopefully he won't go out and sign a "high profile" player behind my back. If he does then he'll need to find the money from somewhere else, I've only got about £30k left
Luckily he's never sold a player behind my back even when the total offer is more the 100x then players value.
I'll be using about 6 players from last season squad in my preferred starting 11. Partially because they should be good enough for First Division football and partially because my scouts haven't found anyone better who's willing to come to Spa. I'll be keep faith in Mahieu and Capon up front, they seem to have developed a good understanding last season.
I'll post screenshots of most of the newbie players this evening, only the big name players and not the ones for the future, most of whom will be going out on loan.

It's become a bit hard to keep track of where you have visited on your round the World whistle-stop tour of relegation.
Any chance you could give us a bit of a recap as to who and where you have managed .
| Well, my journey began in sunny Greece where I had one season of success with pierikos after failing miserably and being relegated with a 10 point gap.
The I was off to Iceland with Vidir, where I was relegated by a single point. I dont know how I managed that many points to be fair as my team was complete utter rubbish.
On my way to Austria I took a divetion to the Czech Republic and loved the cheap beer there, so decided to stick around. The unlucky team I picked is Prachatice: Prachatice
And here is my lovely profile again: Profile
I have started alrightish, the team is certainly better than the one in Iceland. I have made a few good signings, the best a 19 year old Bulgarian striker. I ll post screenies of him tonight. I have started the league with 2 draws and a loss, but they were all against the top temas in the league so I m hopeful |

I really cba atm..I'm getting screwed out of the games EVERY match. I keep getting perfectly good goals ruled out, penalties that weren't penalties given against me, offside goals against me..the works. I am considering starting again - I'm not sure yet.

Rep Power: 0 | Knockbreda - End of Season Update 2008/9
Disappointing season, didn't win a single cup.
But I did win the league, so that makes up for it I guess
Top spot was a contest only between us and Ards, and to be honest, I'm quite surprised I finished above them. They were unbeaten in the league, but drew too many games. They were top for pretty much the whole season, and with 3 games to go, we had to play them away in the next game. We managed to hold out for a 0-0 draw, a game we should have really lost, and then went on to win our last two games, while they dropped points with a draw away to Institute. They then lost in the playoffs for the second consecutive season. First Division Table Position Graph Premier Division Table Second Division Table
In the cups, I reached the Antrim Trophy final again but failed to retain it, losing on penalties to Larne. 5th round of the Irish Cup, 1st round of the Intermediate Cup, SF of the Intermediate League Cup and QF of the Antrim Cup. Profile Snaphot Squad Stats
McVitty was excellent, hitting a really good run in the second half of the season. Sinton's season was interrupted by injuries, preventing him from really getting going. Jason Gillespie was inspirational, and was the 1st Division signing of the season (runner-up was my MC Damien Manning).
Only down-side is the finances, which continue to fall steadily. I had an offer from Loughgall for Jason Gillespie for about £30k but I rejected it. Here is his profile.
Gillespie, McVitty and Manning are all now valued at £1k!
Cup winners-
Irish Cup - Portadown
League Cup - Distillery
Intermediate League Cup - Ards
Antrim Cup - Linfield
Antrim Trophy - Larne
Intermediate Cup - Ards
The southerners won both Cross Border games.
