Right, back to the league...
Congratulations .

I lost that final in the first year .

I took my 3 best players off when winning 4-2 with 10 minutes left. They scored 2 late goals to make it 4-4 and then beat us on penalties .

I won it the following year but it was little consolation.

My cup adventures are now over for the season, losing 4-1 away to Ballymena in the Irish Cup 5th round.

Just 6 league games left now (even though it's only January 13th) with a 7 point gap over 3rd place. Only have 2 league games in the next 7 weeks, my players could do with a bit rest but I think I'll try arrange a couple of friendlies as well.

Llanelli have just bid 12,000 for Christian Roberts and it's non-negotiable.

Here's the bid.

Here's Roberts.

I've decided to accept as I need the money, I never used him much anyway tbh. I'll probably get a decent back up in the pre-season  I'll probably bring you the end of season updates anyway soon

Knockbreda FC - End of season 07/08

Excellent start, winning the Second Division and the Antrim Trophy.
I'll probably need to bring in a few new players, particularly defenders, for next season though.

Delighted with my strikers, Sinton and McVitty, scoring 38 goals between them. Patrick Rooney was also excellent on the left wing, scoring 9 goals and getting the highest average rating in the league.
Sinton and McVitty were the 2nd division signings of the season.

Second Division Table Position Graph
Holywood have been promoted into the Second Division.

First Division Table
Premier Division Table
Newry won the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Distillery won the Irish Cup.
Linfield won the League Cup.
Institute won the Intermediate League Cup.
Glentoran won the Antrim Cup.
Brantwood won the Intermediate Cup.

Ok, so I made a try at dafuge's challenge and managed three relegations in three seasons. Took a hiatus from that and went back to my career in Uruguay (I've no connection there whatsoever, I just like random games) now I'm back to test my levels of masochism again, this time in another completely new league to me (and thus far to this thread): Israel.

So, after one season on holiday the new newest teams to Israel's National Division are Hapoel Irony Rishon Lezion and Maccabi Hashikma - Ramat-Hen, expected to finish 11th and 12th respectively.

I've chosen Irony Rishon Lezion. Why? Because I prefer orange to blue, and since I know nothing about the league here it's as good a reason as any.

Here I am

and here's my squad.

I'll give an update as soon as I've gotten through a season.

Maesteg Park - 09/10

A great season where we upped our points tally by 6 points and cut the gap to 9 instead of 18. As always, Dorrans had a magnificent season alongside Easter upfront. Dorrans bagged 21 and Easter bagged 14. Bear in mind Dorrans was on a 9 game non-scoring streak at the start of the season.

Here's the League Table:

League Table

Here's the Squad:

Squad

And the team:
Ray French

Vince Harrison

Ben Heath

Dave Jackson

Gareth Evans

Peter Ferris

Andy Griffiths

Nick Benton

Kevin McQuillan

Graeme Dorrans

Jamal Easter

(Playing 4-3-1-2)

The only thing I need to do is get better back-ups and improve the financial thing.
