Just each games as it comes for now. I think the team I have is good enough for promotion this season, as long we can stay fit and put together a good run. In the first division, I'll be looking at a couple of seasons hopefully, but after that, it will take a while to break into the big 3 (Linfield, Glentoran and Portadown).
I'll be looking for a few more results like this!
Rooney is my left winger, delighted with that result. The next few games will be tough though, as both Sinton and McVitty (my two main strikers) are out injured |

However they are still not safe they now face a two game playoff v third from top in the first division which is Sandefjord. So maybe my parent club will survive... |

I'm too ****ed against my guys to write much now... I will however, write more later.
Basically, my dream season turned to a nightmare... After being first in the league (even at some point with a 10 point lead), my guys became complacent went on a terrible run of form... We finished 2nd on the league, after being passed by Zagreb (who were relegated the year before.
We lost on playoffs against our parent club Osijek, which means that we will play another season in division 2.
My youngsters are getting unsettled and want to move to bigger clubs.
Still got roughly 2M$ in the bank, but money counts for nothing now... I want to play with the big boys! |

Yes yes, got a few positives.
Got a whole lot of money, promising (albeit ambitious) youngsters and a couple of good veterans.
Should be ok for next season. My goal would be to make good cup runs and get promoted next season (ideally without going through that playoff like this year.)
Good news is that since there is only 1 spot going up, there is only one spot going down. So once in D1, I hope to be able to maintain myself there and not be relegated.
Still... it sucks. |

14 games played and we've moved to the top of the league, 4 points clear of 2nd and 3rd. We haven't been playing great but we keep picking up narrow victories, and have won 6 of our last 7 games, unbeaten in 9.
About to play the Antrim Trophy final against Ards at Seaview (Crusaders' ground, huge 3000 capacity!! ). Don't really have high expectations, Ards are 3rd in the first division at the moment. Hopefully we'll get a decent crowd and earn a little bit from it. Also, it's on Christmas day, which seems a little odd.
8 games left in the league then, with the top two getting automatic promotion. So far, so good.

Victory! Ards 1 Knockbreda 2
David Sinton to the rescue
We've won our first ever trophy! Plus £10,000 prize money, and gate receipts from the sell-out crowd. Balance has soared to a record high of £56k
Right, back to the league...
