League position: 4th
Named as overachievers for the league
Got the two signings of the season
Finances went from 50K$ in the bank to 1.6M$ after one season (I even made 50K$ over the summer when nobody was playing... ), yet the board does not let me upgrade anything due to lack of funds...
2x 14 goal scorers

Looking forward to dominating the league next season...
Looking good for promotion then next season then.

I also got the two signings of the season in my first season at Stavanger IF.

I hope nobody thinks I'm gloating, boasting, or even worse than that cheating. I'm sure those of you who know me from dafuge's challenge, know that not to be the case. I have heard comments that this sort of thing has been reported before in the N.Irish leagues, but it doesn't always happen, The gist of the thinking, (as far as I understand it), is that the game requires tweaking in the area of morale related to excessive good/bad runs in certain structures. I contemplated jacking completely, but don't beleive that it's really too far fetched. I did lose 2 finals, and my tactics are almost good enough to go unbeaten in Conference North/South, (not quite). In any case, the true test of this challenge wil be trying to make the jump from domestic chamions to European competetiveness.

Although I have gone back to my Bromley save, I will be continuing this sporadically and keeping you updated. Please trust me that I will give a full and detailed update, even when I go crashing to relegation.

Good luck to all & long live Burda .
Yeah I know your not cheating Jimbo. I clearly think their to be an issue in the Northern Irish lower leagues that SI will need to investigate further befor FM2008. It will be interesting to see how you are able to cope after that promotion. It might be just a flaw in the bottom league, who knows?

And like you said you are still a small club, from a small nation and once you reach European competition things will get significantly more difficult.

Eircom League of Ireland Premier Division , Mullingar Town 2011

The 2011 season and my first season in the premier division has now come to a close. As the season went on the realisation of the gap between the top six and the bottom six within the division was immense , so i am pretty happy with coming top of the also rans. Team Stats. There was no joy in the Cup competitions despite a run to the semi final in the league cup where i ran into an inform Shelbourne and got hammered 4-0 , a defeat in a quarter final replay against Drogheda United ended my hopes in the Irish Senior Challenge Cup.
On the European Front
Champions League - Shelbourne lost 4-1 on agg to Amonoia Nicosia in first qualifying round
UEFA Cup - Derry City lost 7-1 on agg to Domzale in first qualifying round
- Drogheda Utd lost on away goals to Ruzonmerok in first qualifying round
InterToto - St Pats lost 3-0 on agg to Red Star Belgrade in second round.

Agility and aggression are the only real negatives. Still excellent. Probably the best lower league Target Man I've seen in a while.

He even has a cool name .

Lol yeh - i've prepared my tactics already for his height! And my other two strikers are quite pacey, which will be useful for flick-ons and the likes!
