I had the same thing in N.Ireland.

This year I did have an U18 team though, despite being in the same Division.

Yeah its not many is it. I think one of the ways to try and counter this is to either play a couple of versatile players in your starting 11 or as some of you subs.

Aalst Final End of Season summary

Just thought i'd post this, as the season summary has just appeared on the game, and also, just if anyone's interested, the Euro Championships have just reached their conclusion...

A mixed roundup from the Aalst pont of view, with signing of the season being mixed with worst singning of the season!! But our promotion wins it round to be a very good year!

Season Summary

In the Euro Championships, England had a group of Switzerland, Russia and Turkey, from which they comfortabltly qualified, to face Italy. The game finished 2-2, leaving the dreaded English shootout, but england survived and knocket out the world champions. However, if England have a 'bogy' team, its Portugal, and who did they draw in the semis??? That self same team, who proceeded to continue their psycological advantage, grabbing a 1-0 win, with Ronaldo getting the goal!

Back to Aalst, here I've managed to arrange a few pre-season friendlys to help clear our small debt. Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa, rangers and Lazio are among the visitors to the Pierre-Cornelis-Stadion this summer!! And i'm looking to bring some even bigger teams with our 2nd division status now confirmed!! This, added with our promotion bonus may mean by jan we could have (a small) transfer budget. (Fingers crossed!!!)

Rob
