It's actually the the league below the top flight mate. But it is in truth a world away from the very shabby league we've just got out of.

Just hope we can survive...

Gundo
Yes into the Top Flight now, it's going to be very tough , In the previous 5 seasons only 2 of the promoted sides have survived the premier division.

Lisburn Rovers N.Ireland Divison 2 December 2008.

It's the half-way stage of the league.

We've already won the Intermediate League Cup.

We have played 25 games so far this season. We drew the 1st game 0-0 against a team from a higher league, (and I was pretty happy), but we have since won the next 24 games on the bounce !

To be honest, I think there is something wrong with the N.Ireland league structure within the game. I've been speaking to a few fellow LLaMers, and apparantly it's been mentioned before. I'll slog onwards on the aquaplane at least until the end of the season, but I must tell you that I have never enjoyed winning less.

N.Ireland European Qualification 2008/09.

Just to prove that we can be beaten.

We gave it a damn good go in the 2nd half, but our finishing was awful and we couldn't get the goals we needed. Even though we lost, we still competed well with one of the stringest teams in the Country.

Gundo's Stavanger IF Norwegian Second Division Season 2007 Review.

Wow! Where do I start?

I'm going to start by saying that this particular game has turned out to be my most enjoyable so far on FM07, i'm sure it will continue to be aswell. I've only ever really managed in the English leagues before so was looking forward to the change. I was not to be left disappointed either. I had chosen Norway to manage in and Stavanger IF as my club mainly because this is where my great grandfarther is from. It turned out to be a home from home experience in the end.

Anyway enough babbling about my family tree...

We made a good start to life in the Norwegian Second Division shooting into the top half of the table early on. Our form continued into the last third of the season where we then began to falter. Our near neighbour's Viking 2 (Viking Stavanger Reserves) led the way at the top by a good few points and if truth be told had champions etched all over them before the season had even began. We sat in second place trying with much difficulty to fight off 3rd placed IL Hødd who fort with us to the very end (well second to last game anyway). It was our second to last game and we looked to be struggling in an away tie against some mid-table side (1-0 down), this was made worse by the fact that IL Hødd where winning and the 6 point gap was being eaten away. And with such a close goal difference and our poor form I didn't want it to go down to the last game.

Then... Wait for it...

Yes indeed up pops the boy wonder himself grabbing 2 goals and securing us a valuable point that we needed for promotion as Viking 2 couldn't go up because they where a reserve team.

Norwegian Second Division Grp 3.

Patrik Burda. I did'nt play him every game once he had arrived mid-season for 2k, I just introduced him slowly. But he did impress when called upon.

Prospa. Played well at centre half. This pacey youngster has a good future ahead of him.

Here you go Jimbo just for you: Meet the Big Man. This guy was immense up front, I think he'll cut it in the top flight if we ever get their.

No cup run to speak of either.

Bring on next season now. I can't wait, I've got the ultimate partnership up front in Burda and Lund.

Hope that all made sense.

Yeah things seem a little crazy from what you've told us in your reports. Maybe once you get promoted winning will start to satisfy you again.
