Good effort playing Football the day after a Rugby game Jimbo. We had a guy in our Rugby team once, who used to play Rugby on Saturday and League on Sunday, which is pretty good as well.
I once refereed a womens rugby game the day after playing.

Gundo - Norway(2007) - Stavanger IF mid season break report.

We just broke up for our mid season break, which is 1 month long!

We are sitting pretty at the top of the table, leading 2nd placed Hodd by 1 point.

Players of note: Our Gk (Petter Borkli) is having a great season, he really has pulled off some important saves for us.
The big man up front is also on fire winning everything in the air, although he hasn't scored for 5 games now and he seems to think it's affecting his confidence.

Out of the cup too, getting beat after my right back had got sent off. We would have won otherwise.

The only other thing of note is that Patrik Burda has just arrived. Now fun really begins...

I'll post screenies at the end of the season.

Csepel - Hungarian Div II East

We followed that first win up with two draws and another 2-1 win where Illés scored both goals. The two draws were against 13th and 14th placed teams, the two we need to overtake for safety.
These were 6 point games, and we had the better of both games, so it was disappointing not to claim the full points in these key games.

Up to 10 points with 7 games to go, 14 points from safety, so still possible but really need maximum points, so highly unlikely. Although, it is hard to gauge the potential now I have a full team.

Lisburn Rangers. N.Ireland 2nd Division 2008.
Phenomenal result.

Never mind the score, take a look at the attendance ! We average about 200 for home league games.

We were denied a good penalty, then they were given a dodgy one, and we still hung in there :p.

Our journey to the N.Ireland Intermediate Cup Final.

1st Round. Nov 3rd 2007.
Lisburn Rangers 4 AFC Craigavon 1.

2nd Round. Nov 24th 07.
Lisburn Rangers 2 Ards 2. Lisburn won 3-2 on pens after extra time.

3rd Round. Nov 29th 07.
Queens University Belfast 0 Lisburn Rangers 0. Lisburn won 3-2 on pens after extra time.
4th Round. Nov 2nd 2008.
Crewe Utd 1 Lisburn Rangers 4.

Quarter Final. Feb 23rd 2008.
Moyola Park 2 Lisburn Rangers 4. after extra time.

Semi Final. 18th March 2008.
Lisburn rangers 1 Institute 1. Lisburn Rangers won 4-2 on pens after extra time.

The other semi went to pens too.

We will play Larne Olympic in the final. They are Larne's 2nd/B/Reserve/whatever team.

I can't believe I have managed this .

Well done Jimbo!
Good luck in the final. Did you get a decent amount of gate takings from that Semi-final?
I was a bit disappointed with only about 20k from my home 3rd round tie with Ferencvaros.

We've got no league games between 29th March 08 and 23 April 08.

What's that all about ?

We have the final in between, but that still leaves 3 weeks without a game and it won't let me arrange a friendly with my Reserves.

Does Irish footy close down for Easter ?

Fastbasher.

I'm not sure really. My income from gate receipts in Feb 08 was £6,840, and I've received £21,837 during March 08 so I'm guessing that it's about £15,000 extra. It doesn't sound like much but it's enough to revert us to credit after my carp financial management .
