If they ever agree with you. Sack them immediately. They are just trying to butter you up so that you beleive them the next time when they are lying.

| Nice one. I find trying to work out what they really mean just drives you up the wall. Don't know why I still do it. Maybe I'm waiting for one to agree with me, so I can fire him.

I've played 6 league games, doing ok after a shaky start, but I've just noticed that our next game is another Cup game in what will be the 4th different Cup competition of the season. Intermediate League Cup. Despite winning 3 of our 5 games, we finished 3rd in the mini league and therefore didn't progress to the knockout stages. Antrim Trophy. We beat non-league opposition in the 2nd Rnd, before crashing out in extra-time in the 3rd Rnd to a 1st Div team, after being ahead with only a couple of minutes of normal time remaining. Irish Cup 1st Rnd. We crashed out away to a non-league team. We had 14 shots at goal. They had 2. Intermediate Cup. We just played the 1st Rnd, (1 of 64 ties played today). This seems to be predominantly made up of non-league clubs and everyone below Premiership goes straight into the hat with them. I guess the Premiership boys will be introduced at a later date. I had 699 paying fans turn up to watch us win 4-1, so I'm not moaning at all. My average attendance is normally about 150-200.

| Their certainly seems to be some interesting cup competitions in N. Ireland.
Have you got a player called Patrick McCourt in you game? He is a winger who used to play for Rochdale in League Two. He used to be one of my favourite players on CM/FM before he joined a club over thier.

| Gundo. Yeah, I've had McCourt too in the past. He's in the game as a club called Derry City. Now Derry is a town in Northern Ireland, (right on the border I think), but they are not listed as being in an active league at the moment. I've got a sneaking suspicion that they are now playing in the Eire League structure. I've just checked and yeah, Derry play in the Republic of Ireland structure. |

Alania Vladikavkaz, (Mother) Russia, First Division, May 2007
So far I've played 9 games and everything has been very normal for a club of my stature apart from the first 3 games. After all 3 games the commentry says ' Alania should of won this easily' or ' A comfortable win for Alania'. So after the first 3 games i was really optimistic. Then injuries crept in to my star strikers and so far i havent been hardly able to score since.
Also noticed in Russia out of 7 substitutes on the bench you can use 4 substitutes! Usually have the 4th person coming on is a youngster gaining experinace.
Here is the league table
Here are my latest results.
(WARNING) This is the tactic im using. positons Team instructions
So far Morat Gaev has been my star player.
Oh Yeah!! For the 70k i spent, around 50k was wasted . I could of got loads better players. Oh well im learning.
I think thats all so for now im off to bed il update again tommorrow.

You've made a decent start. I see that 5 teams are relegated! That's alot.
Morat Gaev looks like a good player and aswell as being decent in the air he looks as if he can play abit with the ball at his feet too.

| Yes it is alot of teams to go down but i can do it lol and stay up!!!!!!
Morat Gaev doesnt look anything special but hes my best player and has scored more than any other player.
However im not to happy about the league positon especially after the good start but soon as my players start coming back from injury il start climbing the table again.
Goodnight

Rep Power: 3 | anthony. Your league looks horrible. It looks like it's 2 promotion spots and 5 relegation spots.
You've scored 9 goals in your 9 games. I've gone a bit mad and scored 21 in my first 9 league games . I'm still only mis-table though as I've let in 14 at the other end .

Eircom League of Ireland First Division , Mullingar Town , October 2009
As the 2009 season comes to a close it's not the Gaelic Football or Hurling team that are making the headlines in County Westmeath but the soccer team Mullingar Town whose brilliant run in the FAI Senior Challenge Cup will see them line up against Saint Patrick's Athletic in the FAI Senior Challenge Cup Final on November 29th.
The Run started against struggling Premier Division Club Finn Harps. Non League club http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t183/kaiserwatman/2ndrnd.jpg were next, despite wasting about 25 chances a replay was needed before i finally saw them off. The Quarter Final saw Mullingar once again survive the big guns by drawing another non league side T.E.K. Utd With suspensions and injuries piling up i decided to give a few fringe players a run to my cost and a replay was needed. Mistake wasnt made a second time and it was time to wait for the draw for the semi-final.With Shelbourne missing four key players including both their main strikers, Mullingar Town had hope of an upset. Despite been under almost constant pressure,In front of a record crowd at D'Alton Park of 2376 left winger Niall Bonner broke free in the 56th Minute to send over a cross to Dave Carr who slotted home from about eight yards.Nails were chewed as i tweaked the team for the final 34 plus minutes as mullingar clung on until referee Jim O'Neill finally blew his whistle. First Division Side Mullingar Town were going to Tolka Park.
In relation to the league, Mullingar Town have a very slim chance of promotion to Top Flight. Currently sitting in fourth place 4 points behind Waterford United but with a game in hand. 3 games against sides in 5th , 9th and 10th remain before the historic match against Saint Pats
