Default Sven-Goran Eriksson challenge

Sven -Goran Eriksson Challenge
Sven -Goran Eriksson Challenge – Any Patch

The Aim
To mirror the managerial career of Sven -Goran Eriksson, whilst matching and in some cases bettering his achievements.

Starting Status
Degerfors IF Manager
Past Experience: Professional Football
Database Size: Any
Game Start Date: Sweden (March 07)

Selected Leagues
Sweden-Div 1+
England – Championship +
Italy– Serie B Tim+
Portugal- Liga Vitalis+

The Challenge

Step 1. Degerfors IF – After starting as Degerfors IF you are to establish yourself as a manager by winning promotion to the Allsvenskan.. Once promoted you must achieve an position of 7th or above before moving on.

Step 2.IFK Goteborg – You must then take the job IFK Goteborg (through application or declaring interest only). Then you must win the league and the Swedish cup and the hardest of them all win the uefa cup with them(not all in one season ) before moving to step 3.

Step 3. SL Benfica – This is where it could get a bit tricky. You must then apply for the SL Benfica job. During your time at SL Benfica you must win the Portugal League Title, Taca de Portugal( Portugal Cup) and again go one further than Sven and win the Uefa Cup. (This doesn’t have to be achieved all in the one season.) .then u have to retain your league title next year. Before you move to step 4.

Step 4. AS Roma – You must then move to Italy and apply for the AS Roma job. Here you must win the Coppa Italia and finish 2nd or above in the Serie A Tim, and win the Supercoppa.( not all in 1 season but it must be the double or better)

Step 5. Fiorentina – You then stay in Italy and become manager of Fiorentina where you must lead them to a top three finish and semi finals of the champions league .

Step 6 SL Benfica- You return for your second stint at SL Benfica, Where you must lead them to another league title. Then go one further than sven and lead them to Champions league glory (not all in one season).

Step 7 Sampdoria- You go back to Italy again and become manager of Sampdoria. Where you lead them to a top 4 finish and win the Coppa Italia and then the supercoppa.

Step 8 Lazio- Your last club in Italy, you apply for the Lazio job where you win the Serie A and the Coppa Italia, and then you win the Champions league or the Uefa cup. You then win the Uefa Super Cup and the Coppa Italia again.

Step 9 Manchester City – Your final journey leads you as manager of Manchester City. Where you must better sven and get a top 4 finish in the league. You must win the F.A Cup and make it into the Semi-Final of the champions league.

If you find that any of the teams are not in the top leagues u must get them promoted first,. Consider yourself unlucky. You must however still complete the other goals attached with those clubs.

At any time during the challenge you may apply for the English nation team job.

As England Manager you are to deliver international success to trophy-starved English fans by winning either the European Championships or the World Cup.

Rules

1. You must complete each step before moving on to the next. (the international goals can be done at anytime but must be offered the job)
2. If you are sacked you must take a job one division lower. E.g. if you are sacked in the EPL you must take a job in the Championship and try and win back your old job. (moral of the story is try to avoid the axe at all costs)
3. No external utilities like FM Scout should be used.
4. Winner will be the person who can complete this challenge in the least amount of time.

Thread Rules

1. Tactics and Player Buys may be discussed.
2. Screenshots and progress reports are needed (to prove it )

Suggestions and feedback on how this challenge could be improved are encouraged.

Have fun guys!!

I've always wondered how these work, what do you do if the next job in the list isn't available? Do you just have to wait for it to become available?

you can stay on at the club until the next club becomes available or go unemployed and wait for the next club to be available that way,
u can't go to another team as sven only went to the teams above and u must also too.
ONLY if u get sacked u can become another team in the lower division and then try and get ur job back at the club again
