Match 3: La Vella vs. Angers
Back at home to face our GK Coach's ex club, and a lot of people will be playing their first match. Can we get J.F. a little bit of payback?
20' - Well, that's a good way to start. Teddy Ongoly fouled Cook resulting in an indirect free kick. Scala took it and found, who else? His Aussie buddy Fisher who puts it in for his 5th on the young season. He's been dynamite so far! Let's hope he can keep it going.

27' Angers would peg right back, however. Off a couple a corners, the team worked the passing around a bit and Fabrice Do Marcolino crossed it in to Pierre Planus who put it past Gaz Davies. Sigh, Really need to work on not giving up goals like that.

30' Anything Angers can do, La Vella can do better. A mere three minutes after Planus scored, La Vella struck back as Hong Pong Dong teed up Carrington who put a huge lob forward that Anilez picked up in the clear and buried for his first for La Vella. Great co-ordination and a deserved goal for Anilez.

77' The last hour didn't nearly live up to the excitement of the first 30 mins, but it did contain a goal. The French defenders seem to be baffled by the La Vella offense as its another own goal. Scala got inside and cut into the box. He tried to pass it in front but a miscommunication between keeper Julian Martinelli and D Clement Pinault resulted in the bewildered defender knocking Scala's cross into his own net! I don't know why opposing D's keeping doing our work for us, but I'll take it.
