Some international friendly matches coming up soon which will feature some of our lads. A quick overview:

Nov. 8th: Belgium U19 – FYR Macedonia U19
Nov. 9th: Belgium U21 – FYR Macedonia U21
Nov. 10th: Luxembourg – Canada


The Luxembourg U21 team plays a friendly against Canada as well, but nobody got called up for that. Josh McLachlan is injured, the other ten Luxembourgians were called up to the main squad. (so Teejay Vizzy may get his first senior cap)

Ulfke Chaocmans is the only one called up to the Belgian U19 squad.
Six players have been called up to the Belgian U21 squad: Pablo van den Neijster, Azarias Sakanyi, Tomaldinho, Mikel Van Den Butler, Sneaky Ninja and Fabio Maldini.

Belgium U21 – FYR Macedonia U21 (Friendly)

Six players were called up, but only Sneaky Ninja starts the match, with two players on the bench: Fabio Maldini and Mikel Van Den Butler.

(my match summary will therefore be reasonably brief)

17’ – 1-0! Sneaky Ninja scores a direct free kick
62’ – Maldini comes on
72’ – Van Den Butler comes on

Pretty decent match from Belgium, though nothing special. Macedonia was mainly pretty bad. Belgium was in control, but a few more shots on target would have been nice.
Nice to see three of the Belgians make their U21 debut though. And Sneaky Ninja scores on his debut, thereby becoming the first of the 33 to score an U21 goal.
