Hello, just bought game and wondered if anyone would like to share a succesful united tactic to get me started -

I tried 3-5-2 tactic with them
Lost 4, drew 1 scored 0 - Not good

Tried 4-1-2-1-2 - Good tactic but it means I cant use Ronaldo or Giggs.

2 - Also, using the editor can you change player positions - e.g. Carrick to MC, rather than DMC

no you cant change players positions.
for tactics jambo daves and alonso follows it innnnnnnnnnnn are proving to be the most popular ones to use on the forum.

Mate I Had a Man utd sesson and all the way thru i used this simple tatic:

4-3-3
att
direct
medium

it worked for me you cajn play ronaldo up front wid rooney and saha giggs on the left midfield scholes in centre and the rest is up to you.

Also i find vidic is to be a superb player after 2 sessons.

Im now Inter Season three and am about to sign Torres which will be a three with Adrianno and Ibra....

will this work......

Are there any other tried and tested 4-3-3 just in case

Tried 4-3-3- in italy and it wasnt that successful.

In light of Uniteds new stars - Any one got a nice 4-4-2 Diamond they would like to share...one where they have won a major trophy using it.

i agree 4-4-2 attacking is one of the simplest yet best tactic for me anyway worked well with my juventus. Got to 2016 won 6 serie A and 14 trophies so i think that is quite sucessful.
