If I were you I'd start by getting the free transfers to work. I'd write it like this:
"PLAYER""Manuel" "Neuer" "Schalke" "" "" "" "" "" "free"
"PLAYER""Mathias" "Abel" "Schalke" "" "" "" "" "" "free"
"PLAYER""Dario" "Rodriguez" "Schalke" "" "" "" "" "" "free"
"PLAYER""Mladen" "Krstajc" "Schalke" "" "" "" "" "" "free"
"PLAYER""Hamit" "Altintop" "Schalke" "" "" "" "" "" "free"
It's a pain having to do it bit by bit but sometimes it's the only way to find out which bit is wrong.
Anyway, let me know if this works and if it does I can help you with the rest.

I just saw one of the players names is spelt wrong. It should read
"PLAYER""Mladen" "Krstajic" "Schalke" "" "" "" "" "" "free"
Try that!

I just looked at the Schalke team on my game and some of the players aren't there so I can't check the spelling.
Manuel Neuer & Dario Rodriguez aren't on my database but the other 3 are. Just try with Altintop, Abel & Krstajic to start with and let me know if that works.
