Want to make a background image that will tile and look like a starfield behind my blog site, cant remeber the image size I need. Anyone know? [slick]

Hey Rick,

There isn't any standard size for a tiled bg image. It can be whatever you want. Smaller is better but the repeating pattern is more obvious. So its a trade off between visual impact and load time.

Thanks guys I think I got what I need. used a n image 64 x64 pixels and It works quite well. 8))

Yep! Greg Martin has started many a PSer down the road of astronomical art. Please note that his techniques work with many things, not just stars, planets, and nebula. You can apply what you learn there to stone, metal, clouds, or any number of other textures.
