Im using the updates and they are in my common folder......now,

what if I wanted a new game as Barcalona and wanted Henry......Can I keep my english then add a spanish one???

no. the update is for the english database only. You cant use it in any other country.

So I couldn't create a spanish one then.....e.g. just have the Henry transfer.

If not how can a spanish one be created

You can do updates for any league - however most of the ones around currently are based on the English leagues.

The reason an update is 'league specific' is that if it fails to find a player it won't do any more changes past that point (to help people creating the updates ascertain whats going wrong and where).

If you for instance just put the Henry transfer into a file however then that will work fine (basically just ensure that the players edited really do exist in the league your using is all).

PS> Using the editor from sigames.com helps as you can filter it to only 'show' the players who are active in specific leagues.
