Ok voting is closed. I'll accept Rob's vote even though it isnt claimed because I know its him and we're desperate. HD's vote I cant accept because it wasnt in the proper format.

OK in the end we had 10 votes cast, which is pretty poor. That means an entry needs six votes to be elected as the Official Challenge #2 of 2005.
Results of the 1st preference votes:
No Surrender: 4
Ancient Rome: 3
Summer Holidays:2
Anneka:1
That means that there is no result after 1st preferences have been counted, and binny's challenge Anneka drops out at this stage with the least number of votes. The 2nd preference vote from Anneka is transfered to Summer Holidays and so after this stage of the voting there is still no challenge with six votes.
As Ancient Rome & Summer are tied, the one to drop out will be the one with the fewest overall 2nd preference votes, and that is Ancient Rome, which picked up no 2nd preferences compared to Summer Holidays five.
The three 1st preference votes for Ancient Rome are transfered to their second preference, but one of those was Anneka which has already dropped out. The other two are transfered to Summer Holidays, and the 3rd preference of the other vote is transfered to No Surrender.
That means that both remaining challenges have five votes each.
Now, I could use 3rd preference votes to decide the winner, but in fact they are tied and I have therefore decided that we will have a joint FM05 2005 #2 Challenge between Raptor's No Surrender, and Peacemaker7's Summer Holidays challenge.
Well done to all who entered, especially binny and BoN. A lot of very good challenges have come from this and it shows there is still some imagination left on the forum!
