A promising loss, all things considered. We had our chances but couldn't convert them, and Bordeaux managed to sneak away with the three points at the end of the day. A draw would have been more than fair for our Ligue 1 debut.
August 13: Montpellier 3-0 Troyes (Christiansen, Jestrovic 2)

A much better performance, as we got some revenge over Troyes for what happened at the end of last season. Only problem was that both man of the match Jestrovic and Gathuessi will be out for two weeks each - they strained a calf/groin, respectively.
August 20: Sochaux 1-0 Montpellier (Lamouchi)
Att: 17,257 MOM: Dragan Mladenovic (Montpellier)
Bah. Lucky goal at the start was what clinched it for Sochaux. Again, we're just having problems finding the net, but we've had more than enough chances over our first three games. Only time we've clicked is against Troyes.
August 27: Montpellier 1-1 Auxerre (Christiansen; Kamara)

A little more like it, although both goals only came a few minutes apart; first Kamara's, then Christiansen's. We're still trying to get used to the higher competition in the top division, but at least we haven't been totally outclassed. Yet.
