Fergie makes a deal with Magnier and McManus

Coolmore Stud. JP McManus's cell phone rings.

JP: “Hello.”

SAF: “Good evening it's your nemesis here. Don't hang up. What I have to say is important to your health. Is John their too?”

John Magnier takes the phone and puts it onto speaker phone mode.

JM: “I'm here. What do you want?”

SAF: “Basically I have an offer for you cunts. It's an offer you can't really turn down either to be frank. I have you by the balls.”

JM: “What is this deal and why can't we refuse it you bastard.”

SAF: “Lets just say that if damning evidence emerged into your race fixing you'd both be doing lengthy bird and getting a very large fine. Now naturally I know as well as you do that you are both as guilty as hell. It's only a matter of time before the evidence surfaces. Whether normally or by me passing it on, who knows. I can block its release for a price however if you are interested.”

JM: “There is nothing linking us to it directly or we would already be under arrest.”

SAF: “That's because I've withheld the relevant documents for now. Do you want to take the risk that I'll release the documents or not?”

JP: “You're a ****ing bastard Fergie. We know damn well you'd do it. What's it going to take to get you to hand over the documents?”

SAF First off YOU can **** off. I'm talking to the organ grinder not the monkey here.”

JM “Yes JP. Shut up you'll only make things worse.”

SAF: “Quite. Now all I want is your stake in United. Simple really. The rest of your life out of jail in exchange for your 40% stake in Newton Heath.”

JP: “NEVER!!”

SAF: “Shut it JP: It's very simple I'll give you the documents plus, oh say £30 million, for the stake.”

JM “What guarantees are you going to give us that we get all the documents?”

SAF: “You'll get all the originals, we both know copies would be considered fakes. I'll keep files implicating Fallon, I'll also keep some files relating to you two with a lawyer. Those files will be released only if you reveal who you really sold your stake to as I'm using a shell company.”

JM: “I'm going to speak to someone first before agreeing to deal so I'll get back to you.”

SAF: “Fine. Doesn't bother me I've got nothing to lose here, just don't take to long.”

JM: “We Won't.”

John Magnier hangs up.

JP: “Now what are we going to do?”

JM: “Ring Sir John off course.”

John and JP Contact Sir John

SJ: “Yes. What do you want?”

JM: “I Have a big problem. Fergie has evidence pertaining to our dodgy betting. Basically he wants our stake in Man Utd in exchange for the evidence. We would also get £30 million too.”

SJ: “I assume Fergie has the contacts to get conclusive evidence. I think you are buggered really. You'll have to take the deal but I'd stick the money somewhere offshore as I could use some of it for revenge.”

JM “Didn't think of that. Getting revenge using his own money. I like that.”

SJ: “Thought you would. I'll get back to my planning.”

JM: “OK. Cheers.”

John Magnier hangs up and then rings Sir Alex.

SAF: “Come to your decision have we?”

JM “Yes. We'll take the deal. You've forced us into it you ****.”

SAF: “I'll arrange the funding later on with your lawyer.”

JM: “If you've nothing else, **** Off and leave us alone, but be warned things are not finished between us yet!!”

SAF: “I'll be gone for now but YOU be warned. I'll counter anything you do to me or my interests.”

With that Fergie hangs up.

JP: “So What are we going to do?”

JM: “Wait for Sir John's plan for now. I'm sure he'll have some fine ideas.”

League Cup 3rd Round Valley Parade Bradford

MUTV Commentator

“Good Evening. After another dreadful display from the defence and also due to Bradford's status it is very changed team tonight. Carroll returns in goal tonight for another chance to try and claim the No.1 spot.

Pique gets to start at left back alongside a strong line up of O'Shea, Heinze and Gary Neville. Midfield sees a big change with Kleberson, Djordjic and Fletcher replacing Keane, Ronaldo and Giggs. Miller gets a rare start replacing Scholes and Bellon is up front with Rooney. On the bench is more youngsters with Benjamin Collett looking for his first game.

GK Carroll
DL Pique
DR G Neville
DC Heinze
DC O'Shea
MC Djordjic
MC Fletcher
MC Kleberson
AMC Miller
FC Bellion
FC Rooney

Subs:

Heaton
Spector
Collett
Richardson
P Neville

Daily Telegraph Match Report

Another poor defensive display from United saw them unexpectantly lose to Bradford. Yes it was not a full strength team but their was more than enough quality their too beat a far weaker club. The strongest part of the squad was the defence and it was here the mistakes cost them the game.

Roy Carroll was to blame for two of the goals as he fumbled the ball for one and never even went for another presumably assuming it was going wide. Gary Neville was to blame for the third goal as he passed straight to Evans who easily rounded Carroll to score.

Worse news for United was Bellion picking up a calf strain putting him out for a month and Fletcher damaging his foot putting him out for a few weeks.

Bradford 3 Adebola 51, Schumacher 64, Evans 74 Manchester United 0

MOM: Emanuel

Attendance: 25125

Ratings: Carroll 6, G Neville 7, O'Shea 6, Heinze 8, Pique 6, Kleberson 6, Fletcher 7, Djordjic 7, Bellion 7, Miller 7, Rooney 8, P Neville (Sub for Pique 65 mins) 7, Collett (Sub for Kleberson 65 mins) 7, Richardson (Sub for Bellion 81 mins) 7
