18th Feburary 2006

Pittodrie, Aberdeen Attendence: 13851

Aberdeen 2 - 0 Livingston

Aberdeen came in as favourites, and came out winners, same old story now and now we want to see them lose, NOT! Now it seems they could be ready to go second place, thats if, Stuart's Army can keep getting results. Craig getting both the goals, late on in the first half and late on in the second half. Eagles once again produced a good performance, good enough to be named Man of the Match.

Man of the Match - Chris Eagles (Aberdeen) 9
Aberdeen Scorers - Craig (2)
Livingston Scorers - N/A
Aberdeen Bookings - N/A
Livingston Bookings - N/A

League Postions - Aberdeen (Unmoved, 2nd) Livingston (Down, 8th)

Other Results - Hearts 3 - 3 Inverness
Motherwell 3 - 0 Kilmarnock

They are 3 points ahead, but they've played 2 more games then Rangers. Its gonna be a clone one!

Sorry for big delay, doubt you cared, but still, sorry!

Saturday 25th February 2006

East End Park, Dunfermilne, Attendence: 11373

Dunfermilne 0 - 1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen remain second after a 1-0 win over Dunfermilne, but Rangers are not giving up, now two games behind Aberdeen, and 5 points, Rangers are still looking good for that second place, but Stuart Johnston said
Quote:
We ain't gonna let Rangers pass us easily, Celtic have won the title, ok, not offically, but their quite ahead of us, and Rangers. Ok, Rangers are only 5 points behind us, and yes, we have played more games, but, even they've got to admit, we have a strong Midfield, with Filekovic, Eagles and Adams, Rangers have Ferguson, and thats pretty much it, so, the way I see it, we have a good chance.
Steven Craig scored the only goal after 19 minutes, but a big blow for Aberdeen as Filekovic had to leave the pitch after getting injured, but can Aberdeen get that place in the Champions League, or will they just settle with the UFEA cup?

Man of the Match - Steven Craig (8) Aberdeen
Aberdeen Scorers - Craig, 7th goal of the season
Dunfermilne Scorers - N/A
Aberdeen Bookings - Wilkie
Dunfermilne Bookings - Mehmet

League Postions - Aberdeen (unmoved, 2nd) Dunfermilne (unmoved, 5th)

Other Results - Hibs 0 - 0 Dundee Utd
Kilmarnock 3 - 0 Raith

I've decided to enter 2 new features, they are:
A weekly footballing news section
and
The Story Scenes, at least one a month (in the game!)

Wednesdays Results
Celtic 5 - 0 Motherwell
Dunfermilne 1 - 0 Rangers

Gordon Strachen, the Dunfermilne boss, told Alex McLeish to never give up, despite now being 4 points behind Aberdeen, with no games in hand. And now to the Awards

Player of the Month - Pearson (Celtic)
Young Player of the Month - Eagles (Aberdeen)
Manager of the Month - Moyes (Celtic)

Aberdeen have admitted they want Eagles, but can't afford him, and Eagles said he would join Aberdeen, given the chance.

Saturday 4th March 2006

Pittodrie, Aberdeen, Attendence: 18863

Aberdeen 2 - 0 Hibs

After Rangers dropping 5 points in their last two games, Aberdeen looked to keep their third place against Hibs, and, thanks to Adams and Mackie. Clark, who replaced injured Filekovic, was man of the match, and looked in good shape to get a first team place. Captain Adams opened up the scoring after 82 minutes, while it took another 8 minutes for Mackie, who came on for Craig, to get his 3rd goal of the season. Steven Fletcher came on as a sub on the 63rd minute, only to be sent off within 20 minutes.

Man of the Match - Chris Clark (8) Aberdeen
Aberdeen Scorers - Adams, Mackie
Hibs Scorers - N/A
Aberdeen Bookings - Collet, Wilkie
Hibs Bookings - Glass, Fletcher
Hibs Sending Off's - Fletcher

League Postions - Aberdeen (Unmoved, 2nd) Hibs (Unmoved, 6th)

Wednesday 15th March 2006

Ibrox, Glasgow, Attendence: 45910

Rangers 1 - 1 Aberdeen

If Rangers won, they would revive Champions League hopes. If Aberdeen won, Rangers would of stood, virtually no chance of beating going ahead of Aberdeen. But a draw....means the battle goes on. Still a few games until the League Split, Aberdeen will be hoping to be even more ahead of Rangers, who just lost 2-1 to Hearts in the Scottish Cup Quater-Final on Wednesday. Things started badly for Aberdeen, as Steven Craig was injured after just 1 minute. Then, as revenge, they injured Fetai, only for his replacement, Prso, scored one minute after coming on. Both teams held out, and Aberdeen soon started shooting left, right and centre, but Eagles had a great free-kick saved by Klos, before Heikkinen scored on the 69th minute for Aberdeen. Both teams have a lot to fight for, but will one of them fall under the pressure? And will McLeish get his P45? And if so, will Johnston be tempted to take it? As I say a lot, who knows?

Man of the Match - Suad Filekovic
Aberdeen Scorers - Heikkinen
Rangers Scorers - Prso
Aberdeen Bookings - Pavlin, Caballero
Rangers Bookings - Khizanishvili

League Postions - Aberdeen (Unmoved, 2nd) Rangers (Unmoved, 3rd)

Other Results - Kilmarnock 2 - 1 Celtic
Livingston 0 - 0 Hearts

Sunday 19th March 2006

Pittodrie, Aberdeen, Attendance: 20047

Aberdeen 1 - 0 Dundee Utd

In a game Dundee Utd ruled, it was Derek Adams with a pen, just before half-time, that won it. The Dundee Utd defence seemed to keep stopping the Aberdeen Strikers, but Suad Filekovic was the only player who gave the defence troubles, but Baxter, the Dundee Utd goalie, seemed untroubled, earning himself a Man of the Match.

Man of the Match - Lee Baxter (9) Dundee Utd
Aberdeen Scorers - Adams, Pen
Dundee Utd Scorers - N/A
Aberdeen Bookings - Edilson
Dundee Utd Bookings - McLaren

League Postions - Aberdeen (Unmoved, 2nd) Dundee Utd (Unmoved, 8th)

Other Results - N/A
