Today is a very special day. Not just because today marks the beginning of the 04/05 pre-season, but because today sees the unleashing of some of the world's best youth talent, and some of it's pretty good youth talent as well, on their sixteenth birthdays.
The Offical Talented Footballers (Association), or OTF(A) as they prefer to be known, have today revealed that another 62 young players have been moved off the conveyor belt of talent and into the of the world of football. Such players as Ronaldo, Zidane, Henry, Ronaldinho, Heskey, Akinbiyi and Claridge have made the successful transistion from the OTF(A) to the very highest (and some middle) parts of the football world.
A spokesman for the association, a Mr O. Tee-Eff, said that 'these players could become the greatest players of all time, even better than legends such as Clive Mendonca'. He also stated that 'never, in all my life time, have I been so excited due to a batch of youngsters. Not since I was arrested for doing that anyway.'
It remains to be seen how successful they will be become, but rest assured, many of their names and faces will be seen in the news over the coming years for a long time to come.

Bids start to come in for future 'world-beaters'
The first few offers have started to come in for a number of the young talent unleashed by the OTF(A) this summer. Already a number of clubs have been asking about the availability of some of the kids, with a few clubs even making solid contract offers.
At this relatively early stage in their career (OK, very early stage), they will, as individuals, need to decide carefully on which offer to accept, as this could be the start of their path to glory of the beginning of their road to despair (first left off the path of glory)
Below are details of which clubs have offered for which players.
