*LATEST* Chris Nicol was in action for Chelsea Reserves at home to a very strong Fulham Reserve side in Group 2 of the Reserve league. He never really got going, despite playing 90 minutes, and two Collins John goals saw Fulham win 2-0. |

*LATEST* Darlington were in action in the Carling Cup Second Round at home to Southend, and this meant Nick Morgan was in action. Darlington took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Joey Hutchinson and led going into the break. An unlucky deflection allowed Southend to equalise in the last quarter of the game but another goal from Joey Hutchinson allowed Darlington to progress. Fahd Hakeem was, once again, unselected in the Oberhausen squad as they progressed from the Second Round of the DFB-Pokal with a 2-1 win at home to Cottbus. |

[b]"GIVE ME THE CAPTAINCY" SAYS NORTH
Following his team's performance in the CIS insurance cup, North has announced his displeasure at not being named captian, and warned that this may hasten his eventual departure from the club.
"I should eventually be playing at the highest levels of club football, which is not where this team is at. While I will strive to get the club to that level, If we do not make it I will have to leave. If that is the case, I need the captaincy to showcase my talents. Whether that means moving on into a captain's role elsewhere, I don't know"
"It is rare to find a successful captain that has played on the wings, sometimes on the periphery of the action. As a central midfielder, I can have a greater influence on the game."
"I don't doubt Timmeh's ability, and he may well be a great captain, but I would be better suited to the role."
| And some crazy time skips going on, eh Daz?

*LATEST* Chris Nicol was in action for Chelsea Reserves as they travelled to face Norwich Reserves. They gained their first point as, after a goal from Darren Huckerby, Nicol himself scored (I believe the first OTF goal?) to level the score at 1-1, the way the game ended. |
