I didn't realise it affected some of the stories as well. From reading this thread it appears as though some fine efforts have been lost. Here's hoping that there are backups.

Not looking good though, the way I save/backup stuff means that I can replace the first 8 pages of my Pau story but there's a big gap between there and what I still have on Word for page 9 - too much to remember/fill, so carrying it on any further (including the 200+ pages I still have to post, and the game in progress) is going to be kind of unworkable

Well after a dig through the cache files on my PC I've managed to rescue what had been posted on Page 9 - however, before I start reposting, can anyone confirm whether...

(1) we're likely to see the missing threads restored/rescued?

(2) whether I'll need to repost or can I "upload" the offline copies of the pages lsot to someone/somewhere?

flippers, I'd hold off re-posting for the time being. The situation as I understand it is that Kris is talking to SI bods about the possibility of going to a back up done on Saturday night, which would obviously restore the lost threads, but would have implications for anything posted since then. Hence why I'm not updating my own story until all this is sorted out.
