Default 7 years, 7 clubs, 10 trophies

Interesting story...the short story format is concise and to the point and not totally unenjoyable?

The Milan Chairman (and Italian PM) Silvio Berlusconi, started to demand big name signings. As if Deco and Tevez weren't big enough? He then did something which I hadn't expected - purchased players without my involvement. Carlos Puyol and Walter Samuel. Great players granted, but surely the chairman should leave transfers to me. He also paid well over the odds for the players (over £40m each). Anyway, I now had far too many defenders so decided to sell Joseph Yobo and John Heitinga. I already had Nesta, Maldini, Cafu, Kaladze and Zuiverloon.
My England team had qualified easily for the World Cup. The group stage went well with strolled victories over Switzerland, Russia and Belgium. The first knock out round was less pleasing. After a hard fought draw with Nigeria the curse of penalty kicks became England's downfall again. Even Rooney missed his penalty. I resigned immediately. The FA asked me twice to reconsider my resignation but I declined on both occasions.

Just a question did these two things happen in fm 2005 cos i think its quite interesting that the chairman bought two players without your say so. and the England job asking you to reconsider? i've never seen this happen before

I'm pretty sure chairmen go on shopping sprees without you saying so. Never had a national job nor resigned from a team so I wouldn't know about that.

Once I was Real Madrid, and the chairmen spent 80M+ on Ronaldinho and Totti in tow days, and I didn't say a word.

I have to say this does happen, Roman at Chelsea bought me cassano(£54m) and ronaldo(£48.5m) without me saying so in january 2005!
It didnt help considering i had 5 scoring strikers at the time, but the defence was leaking goals (I wanted to sign Rio Ferdinand who was unhappy but when he bought me the not needed strikers he took my 20m budget).
After my shambolic defence let barcelona in 7 times, there was no help for my strikers, and no time for me! I was a goner.

P.S. Yes, ! am a noob(newbie)!

I'll consider retirement again then, honest.
Don't be silly!

Keep it going till your 80 or something, has anyone ever gone on for anywhere near that long?
Must give it a try.
