I like managing Hercules from Spanish div 2. Not only do they have the best name ever (!) they’re also that magic combination of being a fairly well supported club but one with low expectations.

FM08 also seems to have given them a pretty good squad (although they’re doing okay irl for a change too). Their strikers in particular are top level class (Ruben Navarro! Blas Perez!! The mighty Sendoa!!!), and put that next to the board’s very low expectations (20th) you shouldn’t find it too hard going (except for the registration bug, sigh...)

Billericay is a good place to start- bottom of the pile, no money but a team of quick kids will get you to L2 in no time.
