I'm currently at the start of the 2008 season as manager of FC Dallas in Major League Soccer.

I registered my squad for the new season and then a day later I signed Maurice Edu from Toronto in a player exchange deal and picked up Blanco & Angel from the Waivers list. I'm getting rid of Angel right away in a p/ex for Wells Thompson but keeping Blanco. It said "FC Dallas must submit a new squad list" but there was no button for me to click on to submit a new squad list. Then it came to my first game of the season and it said both Blanco & Edu were inelligible! But I never had any option to register them. I already had 18 senior players but I wanted to go to the "submit squad" screen so I cud add Blanco and 'waive' another player by taking off his squad number. But I never got the option to register both these players. Edu was on a development contract so there shouldnt have been a problem with him as I only had a 23-man squad. So I had to play my first game without Blanco & Edu. Then after the game I checked Toronto FC and the player I exchanged with them for Edu played in their game. So howcome they could register there player but I couldnt register mine? I don't want to waive one of my players and then still not be able to register Blanco and me left without another player. Also howcome Edu is ineligible when he's on a DEV contract?

Anybody know a solution to this? If I waived a player would it then give me the option to register Blanco? But why isn't it let me register Edu when he's on a DEV contract and so it doesnt matter that I already have 18 senior players!?

Any help would be appreciated!
