i just freed up 5 gigs of space on my c drive but it still wont save. im trying to save it on my usb now.

In the game change the name of the file under save as see if that helps. Or try rolling save and if that helps?

Normally going on holiday fixes bugs like this.
Turn on the rolling save funtion to the shortest save and then go on holiday till the game is saved.

Perhaps you should try a virus scan and possibly a spyware scan to see if anything turns up. Failing that maybe you should uninstall and re-install or try asking in one of the support forums.
