First of all, sorry for the silly title but I did not want to keep it long. After I installed the patch, I immediately started a new game. However, I noticed that there are not any coaches who give you 7-star in set piece training anymore - it wasn't like that pre-patch. Actually, any coaches with the attribute of high "technique coaching" is extremely rare. I believe a good set piece coaches require high technique and mental coaching, as well as above average tactic, attack and defence coaching - such a non-player doesn't exist in my game. Is it just me, or is anyone else having difficulties finding good coaches, too?

P.S: I am playing the English and Spanish leagues with large database.

there is a few. took me 2 years to get 7 stars all over for my lazio team.

for example an very good defensive coash in werder bremen.

whut team do u play? try raise your rep.

I'm experiencing the same issue. In FM07 I could easily find a bunch of coaches which exceeded the required stats through the "find staff" option. Now I can only find a handful that barely match the required stats, and they're often highly reputed managers or ass managers like Marcello Lippi or Johan Neeskens. I'm Man Utd, so it couldn't be that my rep isn't high enough.

Now, maybe it's better this way, that world class staff shouldn't be easy to find. I don't consider it a major problem anyway, but it's something that caught my eye in FM08.

Fgu82, i started a new game & noticed the exactly same thing.

Getting in quality coaches/scouts is one of the first things i do taking over any team. I've spent a good few hours trying to find good enough technique coaches to get the Set Pieces & Ball Control. Yet after the post i've yet to find any.

Being honest i thought it was an easy thing to do pre-patch to get a 7 star coach in all fields i just feel now they've made it too hard.

I just tried the editor and unbelievably, there is not a single non-player in the game database who would give 7-star in set piece training as well as I'm concerned.

Maybe I'm wrong. What I looked for was:

technique: 19+
mental: 17+
Tactic: 15+
defence & attack: 12+

At least I am sure that it wasn't like that pre-patch or in FM07.
