Why does this version of FM feel like one big test?

It just feels that you need to get the 2 questions before a game right to win or lose. I'm talking about the press question before the game and then your final team talk.

How can you go from beating Liverpool & Chelsea back to back the by saying We should win to press & I expect a win to players lose by playing poorly to Derby (I manage Newcastle by the way).
I'm frustrated, tryed loads of tactics any all the other Bo**ox but I just get the feeling that my mouse clicks before the game impact far to much anyone else?

i know what you mean it just effects players too much. I never say anything anymore (haven't done on this or the 07 version) just ignore and keep clicking through.

No players get effected - no problems!

I tell you what ruins the game for me... my last game sums it up.

Away from home:

Opposition - 5 shots, 1 on target
My team - 27 shots, 10 on target (5 one on ones missed)

I'm sure many have guessed already, I lost 1-0. FIVE one-on-ones missed. Absolutely ridiculous the amount of times this has happened.

Yes I don't say anything either to the press. I find that if I do my players morale drops doesn't matter what I say. If you give a big mothed comment then it is understandable some players will feel the strain, but a normal comment why should it still bring the players morale three steps back? Needs to be sorted in next patch I think.
