Um. Three Champions League titles and 3 EPL titles in three years? His board should **LOVE ** him.
Whether the board does realise his quality and offer him a new contract or not, this is a spot where I'd really have wanted to see the board offer him a new contract a year ahead of time.
For example, if he was on a four-year-deal, and won the CL and EPL both, in the first three seasons, I'd expect the board to quietly renew his contract in the summer between the third and fourth seasons. There should be no doubts about his managerial ability, and they should want to "lock up" their manager in exactly the same way we lock up our top players.

This doesn't have to be a negative term that they are considering your future.
They could be considering whether to offer you a new 3 or 5 year deal.
That's a serious comment by the way. If they don't offer you a new contract, (wasn't that process brought forward by the patch), then it's a problem, but them thinking about what decision to make isn't.
Maybe it's just the limited options available for the board to state their current position that's the problem. I guess we will find out if he gest offered a new contract.
