I guess that's fair, Jimbokav.
Yes, the 'new contract offer' process was brought forward from 1 month before expiry to 2 months before expiry as part of the patch. I think it should be something more like:

12 months: Offer new long-term contract for exemplary long-term performance, e.g., multiple titles, promotion beyond the board's original objectives. (eshaan's case, after 3rd season).

6 months: Offer new mid- to long-term contract for strong long-term performance and exceeding expectations midway through this year.

2 months: Offer new long-term deal for dramatically exceeding expectations in first season with club. (eshaan's case, after first season). Offer new mid-term contract for exceeding expectations somewhat. Offer new fairly short-term contract for meeting expectations consistently over several seasons.

Last chance consideration: Offer new one-year contract after final match of season, but before the off-season transfer window begins. This would be for the manager who, by meeting expectations this season, avoids the sack. Might also have a 'long-term-deal' award here for the first-season manager who 'pulls out' a dramatic exceeds-expectations in the final months of the season, e.g., eshaan's first season - the board couldn't know he was going to win the CL and FA Cup at the 2-month window, and he might have been in a dog-fight for the EPL, so they may have skipped the new contract then.
