This is what im saying ...there is no incentive to be given a bigger wage packet, you might aswell accept a £1 contract and let the board keep the rest of the money ..
might be wrong but i thought the wages were important when it came to do with gettin the sack cos if a club couldnt afford to sack you then they would be less likely to do so.

Interesting..and quite possibly correct. but iv never recieved a compensation message or nething after being sacked ? but its worth looking into
Its called football "Manager" for a reason. I do however agree being able to be a youth team coach or something around those lines would be very good fun. But Im more than happy that they keep on the same track they're on now.

sorry! i forgot football managers were all robots who just constantly manage! but fair point. and just so you know i am in no way criticising football manager. i Think it is fantastic as it. everything im suggesting would just be very a very welcome bonus (well in my eyes at least)

There is incentive to get as large a wage as you can get. It makes you more difficult to be sacked.

so this is really the case? i mean as i said before you dont get any compensation messages or anything if you do get sacked. but stupid me.. why would you. you wouldnt be able to do anything with the money!
