Okay I was wondering how people here deal with training strikers with good penalty stats. Obviously You have to give them set piece training but it drives me mad to see my strikers get better at corners, long throws, and I'd prefer them not to improve free kicks or crossing.
Currently I am only training my strikers with one notch of set pieces to avoid training them to be better at stuff I never want them to do. I train AM, Fullbacks, and wingers on set pieces, but I would like to get my strikers to be better at penalties as it would sometimes help them to get past a barren patch goalwise.
So how do people cope with training strikers to take penalties? Also am I the only one who would like to see penalties given it's own training 'section'?
