| Slow build up and be attacking? Its a confiction of instructions. Attacking for example means you go forward and are always looking to break. To then play slow empo just doesn't make sense.

Thanks man.
But if you want to keep hold of possession and are by far the better team would it not be wise to play slow. I dont do it but surely it is possible? I mean if you are defensive and playing on the counter then you should be playing quick no? And if there is no use for slow tempo in an attacking tactic then does this make slow tempo obsolete and fast tempo categorically the best way to go?

| I find slows works best for stoppng the opposition having oo much of the ball. You know like in the hard away games or against teams who have someone you simply cannot handle.

The tactic I gave you plays with a fast tempo
So Cleon would you say, if you are a strong team, you should really only use a slow tempo to kill of a game or hold onto a lead or play for a draw etc.

Cleon this isn't the case, of course you can play an attacking game at a slow tempo.

My favorite tactic in FM07 was a variant of WWFan's Control, which was an attacking tactic with slow tempo.
My best tactics in FM08 have been counterattacking - but I'm working on a 4-5-1 slow tempo attacking tactic that facilitates the breaking-down of ultra defensive sides. I don't see a contradiction.

| I know you can hve mderate success, but its a conradiction. I think one of the manulas used to state that too. Your asking the players to play 2 different ways. You want them to play attacking and get forward at every opportunity, then in the next instance you want them to play a slow build up.
It just doesn't make sense no matter what.
