Ok I still have the demo but I'am going to get WOrldWideSoccer Manager 2008(Same game only its for download for us yanks). I need to know which good young talent there is for me to get.
Please don't give me players that I will not be able to afford or that won't want to come to my club it is of no use.
I'm looking for a Left Mid, Left Back, Striker, Center Back(Most important to me so I would be willing to spend a good amount), right and center mids as well.
Here is the order of interest:
1.CenterBack
2.Left Mid
3.Center Mid
4.Left Back
5.Striker
6.Right mid
I've had luck with Coloccini and Breno as centerbacks (both have done well for my Spurs teams). For Left mid, I currently have Luka Modric, who's doing great. Simao also came over in January, and he's been excellent (but expensive). You can't go wrong with Van Der Vaart as the center mid. I alternate Bale with LYP as left back, until Bale is ready for it full time. I think the strikers you already have are fine (though if you really want a new one, look at Palacio). As for right mid, use Lennon when he is healthy. Use Malbranque or Jenas there until Lennon comes back. You won't be able to afford all the players, but those are some guys you should think about.
On a side note, nice to see another Yank Spurs fan on here. I myself live in the Phoenix area.
Ya I just became a fan a little under a year so Im fairly new. I go to bigsoccer.com and talk to fellow spurs fans its fun. Also I picked up a youngster named mika aartilo or something very good as a L or R mid. Breno was a pick of mine in the Demo but I don't know about him. The reason why I want a striker is cause I sell or sold Defoe. He goes to Portsmouth for around 15 million US good money.
Van Der Varrt is way to expensive for me Im looking for part time/backup. I like to put Bale at the Left mid sometimes so that is why I like a left mid. But anything else for CB's would be great. Im thinking about getting someone that is on the same level as King. Lucasio from benfica looked good also David Bins or something like that from Benfica was also a good look. Simao is also to old for my needs and is really expensive.
Lee Martin has actually been a good pickup for me. Good crosser and can take pretty good corners.
Aaritalo is excellent, and most Spurs fans seem to pick him up. He can be sold for around $50 million plus the 2nd season (30 pounds). I wouldn't necessarily sell Defore, he was my leading goalscorer in my 1st game, and the fans' player of the year (something like 27 goals in 34 starts). If you really want to sell him, pick up Eddie Johnson. Yeah, he's American, but he's cheap, and quite a good 3rd/4th striker. If Van der Vaart is too expensive, don't give up on Boateng. He becomes really good in the 2nd/3rd season. You can always alternate him and Jenas until he's ready to take over.
For cheap centrebacks, grab Ignashevich (free at the beginnings), and Christopher Samba from Blackburn (about $2-3 mil). I would think about this team:
I pick up Dave Kitson who comes at a price but he has spurs in him and he plays hard. The sale I get from Defoe is real good and to be honest Im not very high on him IRL. Im hoping we off load him Jan transfer window.

Here is the order of interest:
1.CenterBack - Dawson and King have done great for me2.Left Mid - Matias Fenandez of villareal3.Center Mid - Van De Vaart a must and Makoun for DM
4.Left Back - Got to play Bale top class
5.Striker - Spurs have enough strikers with Bent getting by far the most goals, Berbs, Keane and Defoe no need for more6.Right mid - Lennon I assume would do the buisiness but I had to sell him for 20 mil in first season. I got aaritalo and recently Joe Cole (7.5 mil in 4th season) has played there.
