Hi guys this is my first post an everytime i try to connect it says unable to connect to server! ... i have looked in the stickied posts at the top but I can't find it

You load the forum up and the first thing you see is 'New to FMO? Please read these topics before getting started. ' So you ignored this advice and post anywhere you feel like it, good stuff.

Read the topics in the forum header and from there post in this forum properly.
