Default The LLaMa Online 07 thread

There will be 3 clans this year made up of LLM and Crapmanager regulars. All clans will play to LLM rules: http://community.sigames.com/eve/for...17/m/419200124

Introducing the Scotland Clan (Red):

1) No accepting of international jobs
2) No jobhopping in your first season
3) Game is only played when the quorum is met - 3 for this clan
4) Real names and nationalities only
5) Normal LLM rules apply
6) Any manager sacked must wait at least one month before they can recycle (unless clan decide otherwise). Recycled managers will (normally) restart with any team in the bottom half of Scottish Division 3.
7) No parent/feeder relationships to be entered into. Any pre-existing (or subsequent board arranged) relationships to be cancelled ASAP. No players to be taken/played from parent clubs.
8) Manager's past experience to be set to "automatic"

The teams
Michal - Montrose
Devon - Elgin
Gil - East Stirling
Derek - Albion
Dave - East Fife
Simon - Dumbarton
Reb - Arbroath

Week one, and we started with the traditional (in LLM online games at least) LLaMa Cup:

Round 1:

Montrose (Michal) v Elgin (Devon) 0-0. Montrose win on pens
Albion (Del) v East Fife (Dave) 1-2

Bye: East Stirling (Gil), Dumbarton (Simon)

Round 2:

East Stirling 3-3 East Fife. East Fife win on pens
Montrose 2-3 Dumbarton

Final:

East Fife 2-2 Dumbarton. East Fife win on pens

No sign of Reb.

Dave installs himself as promotion favourite by virtue of winning the LLaMa cup

Updates in so far:

Montrose

50-1 to go up

Couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo in pre-season, just saving them up for the real games though!

League:
Stenhousemuir (A) 4-0
Albion Rovers (cyber-Del) (A) 3-1

League Cup:
Partick Thistle (Div1) (H) 0-3

Challenge Cup:
Stirling (Div 2) (H) 1-2

Session ended early due to Devon buggering off. 2 out of 3 cups exited nice and early. Top of the league though.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Dumbarton
Strathclyde Homes Stadium, Dumbarton
2100 all seater with under soil heating.
Fairly basic training facilities
Basic youth facilities
Chairman willing to listen to offers

Evens for promotion, with Berwick Rangers 4-5f

Dumbarton 2 Albion 2 - 13
League Cup First Round - Stirling 5 Dumbarton 2 - 313
Dumbarton 4 East Stirlingshire 3 - 600 (my goalie sent off 54)
Challenge Cup First Round - Dundee 3 Dumbarton 0 - 470

Elgin

Preseason.
Well it's done. Tried to sign several players and they all decided to go to Montrosse instead. Bloody Welshman.

League play
Opened the season in style with a 6-0 victory over promotion favorites Berwick.

Lost 1-0 to East Fife. We should've had a draw and his goal looked a shade offside, but...

Cups
Lost 1-0 to Hamilton in the second session of extra time. Heartbreaking. We played well enough to win.

Missed what happened in the second cup game, but surely we were handily beaten.

Was impressed by the speed actually, though could be that there were only three of us. In dire need of a few new players so hopefully Michal is done signing people.

My attendance v Albion Rovers should read 613. 13 is too small even for the Scottish Third Division.

New manager added: Chris - Berwick

Last night's updates in so far:

Montrose

A tale of woe

Dumbarton (H) 1-1. Let them back in the match late on, but 1-1 probably right
East Fife (Dave) (H) 1-0. Should have been more
Queens Park (A) 0-1. Unlucky not to draw
Elgin (H) 1-1. No idea how we didn't win this one

Finished the session in 2nd.

Manager of the month for August, Young player of the month, 2nd in Player of the month and Scotland's most active team in the transfer window

----------------------------------------

East Stirlingshire

Finsihed where I started: 6th. Was last almost the whole session, but won the last match (vs Reb)

H vs Stenhousemuir 0-2
H vs Queen's Park 1-1
A vs Elgin (cyber-Devon) 2-2
H vs Arbroath (Reb) 1-0
----------------------------------------

Albion rovers

only played two games as I joined late found my team bottom with 2 pts from 4 games

East Fife(dave) 0 1 Albion rovers

Helped by east fife getting there gk sent off after 12 minutes.

Albion rovers 1 Queens park 3

2 penalties in the first twenty minutes both for Queens park, Albion tried a galant comeback but were eventually sucker punched by a spiders breakaway, I blame the ref those should never have been penalties.

I think i'm 6th or 7th but 4 of the human managers (me included) are in danger of becoming marooned in the bottom half of the table.

----------------------------------------

East Fife

An awful session

League

2-3 v Arbroath (Sam) (A)
0-1 v Montrose (Michal) (A)
0-1 v Albion (Del) (H)
0-7 v Dumbarton (A)

Bottom of the table!!

Leage Challenge Cup

2-2 v Arbroath (Sam) (A) Lost 3-2 on penalties.

Session 3 sees Arbroath running away at the top of the league.

Updates in so far:

----------------------------------------------------
Montrose

From bad to better.

1st game of the session was 2nd v 1st:

v Abroath (cyber-Sam) (A) 1-3
v East Stirling (Gil) (H) 1-3
v Berwick (cyber-Chris) (A) 2-0 \o/
v Albion (Derek) (H) 2-0
v Dumbarton (Simon) (A) 2-0
v Stenhousemuir (H) 2-2
v East Fife (Dave) (A) 4-1
v Cove Rangers (Cup R1) 3-0
v Queens Park (H) 1-1

Finish the session in 3rd, 6 pts clear of 4th, but 6 behind Arbroath in 1st, who have a game in hand

----------------------------------------------------
East Stirlingshire

Good session. 4th now. Got a bye in the cup, playing Queen's Park next round.

H vs Berwick (cyber-Chris) 2-1
A vs Montrose (Michal) 3-1
H vs Albion Rovers (Dr. Nick) 2-2
A vs Dumbarton (Simon) 1-1
A vs Stenhousemuir 1-1
H vs East Fife (dave) 1-1
A vs Queen's Park 0-3
H vs Elgin (cyber-Devon) 2-1

----------------------------------------------------
East Fife

Another disappointing session, but I may possibly have found a tactic that works ...

Stenhousemuir (H) 0-3
Berwick (cyber Chris) (A) 1-1
Queen's Park (A) 2-3
Elgin (cyber Devon) (A) 0-2
Arbroath (Sam) (H) 0-2 (can't remember if Sam played this one)
East Stirling (Gil) (A) 1-1
Montrose (Michal) (H) 1-4
Albion Rovers (Derek) (A) 3-2 (elevating myself to ninth and leaving Chris bottom of the pile)

----------------------------------------------------

The Dumbos

I wished I'd stayed in Avoriaz.
