Updates from 21/1:

Dumbarton

Dumbarton 2 Queen's Park 2 - 584
Dumbarton 3 Stenhousemuir - 560
Elgin City 1 Dumbarton 5 - 323
East Fife 1 Dumbarton 0 - 263
Dumbarton 4 Arbroath 0 - 622
Dumbarton 3 East Stirlingshire 1 - 631
Montrose 1 Dumbarton 1 - 775

I wish I was still in Avoriaz

---------------------------------------

Montrose

Hampered by continual injuries to strikers.

League:
Arbroath (cyber-Sam) (H) 3-0
East Stirling (cyber-Gil)(A) 2-2
Elgin (Devon) (A) 0-0
Berwick (cyber-Chris) (H) 2-0
Albion (Del) (A) 2-1
Dumbarton (Simon) (H) 1-1

2nd in the league, 6pts off Arbroath

Cup:
Spartans (A) 3-0
Dunfermline (A) 2-3

---------------------------------------

East Fife

It's not getting much better ... two wins, but they were both down to my assman

Stenhousemuir (H) 2-4
Berwick (cyber Chris) (H) 0-2
Arbroath (cyber Sam) (H) (Cup) 1-2
Dumbarton (Simon) (H) 1-0 (assman in charge due to touchline ban for yours truly)
Queen's Park (H) 1-2
Elgin (Devon) (H) 1-2
Arbroath (cyber Sam) 2-1 (assman partly in charge due to PC crash)
East Stirling (cyber Gil) (H) 0-2 (at least that might cheer Gil up - hope the pc's better soon Gil).

Back to the bottom of the table.

---------------------------------------

Elgin

Missed the first hour so I'm not sure what happened save for Simon getting lucky that I was absent.

On my return a "bore draw" with Mr. Kus. And a dominating 2-1 win over David "It was never a penalty" Varley. Beat Stenny in there as well as a romp over Queen's Park. Probably something else I'm missing.

In the cup with beat some non-league club rather handily and then were duly dispatched by Clyde 7-2. .

Had a few connection problems as I kept wandering out of wireless range. Manager of the month for December. Imagine if I'd actually attended all the sessions.

40th time lucky?

Two new clanners:

Keith (elwrakum) - Queens Park
Chris (crosbysleftear) - East Fife

28/1 session a disaster due to an online bug which should now be fixed in the next patch: http://community.sigames.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=2101905...292009392#6292009392

28/1 Updates:

Montrose

Save went tits up on several occasions tonight - mostly around when Dave got sacked, and then again at the end of the window.

So, only two games actually played (though in reality we did about 8):

Stenhousemuir (A) 1-1
East Fife (H) 2-1

Session ended in 3rd, 2 pts from the top.

xx

Dumbarton

I should have watched more of 24 series 5.

xx

East Fife

Sacked from East Fife following takeover.

Taken up the reins at Stenhousemuir.

xx

2/2 Updates

Montrose

A real mixed bag tonight:

Queens Park (A) 1-3
Elgin (H) 4-1 (cyber-Devon)
Berwick (A) 3-1 (Cyber-Chris)
Arbroath (A) 0-2 (cyber-Sam)
East Stirling (H) 2-1 (Gil)
Albion (H) 1-2 (Derek)
Dumbarton (A) 4-0 (Simon)

Still in 3rd, 6pts off Arbroath, 5 behind Queens Park. 7 games left.

xx

East Stirling

I forgot to take notes, but i'm 6th now.

xx

Queen's Park

QP 3-2 Dumbarton - red card decisive factor?
Stenhousemuir 1-0 QP - 93rd minute goal ffs
Berwick 1-3 QP - two 10s Embarrrased
QP 2 - 1 Elgin - in yer face cyber-Mazzone

Didn't have a clue who any of my squad were, bit of a whirlwind joining late, but did alright, seeing as I didn't do much more than press continue

xx

Stenhousemuir

A reasonable start, but I've got the feeling the Varley effect is beginning to kick in ...

Dumbarton (H) 2-2

Berwick (A) 1-1

Elgin (A) 3-3

East Fife (A) 0-1

Queen's Park (H) 1-0

Arbroath (A) 1-2

East Stirling (H) 1-2

xx

East Fife

First update but I can't remember the details.

Won 2 but lost my target man in the second of these. Then I drew 2 and lost 1.

Off the bottom of the table now though.

xx

Los Dumbos

Stenhousemuir 2 Dumbarton 2 - 336
Dumbarton 2 East Fife 2 - 691
Arbroath 2 Dumbarton 0 - 553
Queen's Park 3 Dumbarton 2 - 471
Dumbarton 0 Elgin 0 - 528
East Stirlingshire 2 Dumbarton 1 - 183
Dumbarton 0 Montrose 4 - 475

Albion

Good session for the Rovers lost the first game to queens park, but then a rampant Albion side went on a winning streak Which saw them rise from 8th to 4th (playoff spot) including notable wins like a 3-1 drubbing of league leaders Arbroath and a 2-1 win over Mkus which was achieved despite having a man sent off in the first half.

The main catalyst for this has been a couple of players acquired during the January transfer window a goalkeeper who seems able to kick the ball out to players actually on his team and a 17 year old left winger who has so far managed an av. rating of 8.00 in the 5 games he has played.

Hopefully I will be able to secure 4th place next session and go into the playoffs as the form side.

This is in desperate need of updating...

11.2.07
Stenhousemuir

1-2 Montrose (A)

1-1 Dumbarton (A)

2-3 Berwick (H)

2-1 Albion Rovers (H)

2-3 East Fife (H)

1-1 Queen's Park (A)

1-1 Elgin (H)

Finished eighth. Badly need to strengthen for next season

xxx

Montrose (or the bottlers)

v Stenhousemuir (Dave) (H): 2-1
v Queen's Park (Keith) (H): 2-0
v Elgin (cyber-Devon) (A): 3-1
v East Fife (Chris F) (A): 0-0
v Arbroath (Cyber-Sam) (H): 3-0
v East Stirling (Gil) (A): 0-1

So last game if we win and Arbroath lose, we win the league. Simon does his bit, and we have rock bottom Berwick.

v Berwick (Chris M) (H): 1-2

xxx

East Stirling

Lots of wins, 4th, and a playoff spot. Playing Raith Rovers in the playoff Semi Final.

H vs Elgin (cyber-Devon) 4-1
A vs Arborath (cyber-Reb) 1-2
A vs Queen's Park (Keith) 2-0
H vs Berwick (Chris McGregor) 3-0
H vs Montrose (Michal) 1-0
A vs Albion Rovers (DrNick) 0-0

xxx

East Fife

Lost a few, drew a lot, won a few including the 2nd to last gane v Berwick which ensured that I wasn't last. Not a bad end of the season considering the situation when I took over.

xxx

Queen's Park

Mixed bag tonight:

A vs Arbroath (cyber-Reb) 1-0 - Takes us top of the table \o/ (for one game...)

A vs Montrose (Michal) 0-2 - Outthought and outclassed, 12 shots to 3

H vs Albion Rovers (DrNick) 1-0 - Hard fought win, despite a red card for us

H vs East Stirling (Gil) 0-2 - Strange tactical system confused my players

A vs Dumbarton (Simon) 0-0 - Should have won this comfortably...

H vs Stemhousemuir (Dave) 1-1 - Another bore draw

A vs East Fife (Chris F) 2-1 - 2nd goal came from some beautiful build up play. Not quite enough for us to finish top, but managed to pip Montrose to 2nd.

xxx

Berwick

Only highlight of my night was beating Michal in the last game. I finished rock bottom and the board are not amused! I suspect Berwick will be looking for another manager soon!

In my defence I did miss a large part of the season due to Real Life sucking harder than Devine Brown!

Watch out, next season will be different.

xxx

Los Dumbos Muchos

Albion 2 Dumbarton 1 - 599
Dumbarton 1 Stenhousemuir 1 - 482
East Fife 1 Dumbarton 1 - 276
Dumbarton 3 Berwick 0 - 486
Dumbarton 0 Queen's Park 0 - 657
Elgin 1 Dumbarton 1 - 333
Dumbarton 2 Arbroath 1 - 682

5th, 47 points
Crap.

17.2.07 - Playoffs

Montrose

Playoff Semis:

v Queen's Park: 3-0 (H) 1-1 (A)

Final:
v Raith: 0-1 (A) (88th minute) 0-0 (H)

So another season in Division 3 beckons. Only Arbroath promoted.
