Forging a union. Anglo-Scot : The term Anglo-Scot may also be used to refer to people of dual English and Scottish heritage
but in our case it's a game
bit of history
We started many moons ago simply know as the Scots Sunday in the days of CM, when hosted by JPRemington.
The main aim of the game was to start with nothing and move your way up the leagues to greatest prize of all the Champions league.
In the early days there was a Fergie clause installed, which was rather simple follow in the footsteps of the great man himself.
Start in Scots 3rd take a Scottish team to a European cup final and win it, then move south of the border to take on the best. The Fergie clause was dropped at the end of 06.
By 2007 the lads had enough of the Scottish set up and moved south, and the game was re-named the English Sunday.
A few still held a strong bond to the Scottish game, so in 2008 we returned to a full Scottish set up along side the English one.
And renamed our selves once again as the Anglo-Scots Sunday.
Once again taking on the lowest depths of English/Scottish football, no money, no players and very little fans only your managerial ability will save you
Let me introduce you to the players :
Davie-Host about to start my 5th season in the Sunday game, and 2nd full season as host.
Tavv now his 3rd year with the clan, was the only main player that stuck with his club from day one to the end. This Estonian set a new clan record for players signed last season, 376 players signed.
Nuke 4th season on board, you just know he'll be up there with the best of them, had a great start last season but faded towards the end
Tim joined at the start of last season, took the game by the scruff of the neck and won everything that stood in his way. Also spent a staggering £512m on players and set a new clan record for goals scored with 1932, Will be one of the players to keep a eye out for in 2008
Rob our part-time footballer, but he’s a fulltime manager, also the back-up host.
Goldy one of the most well known names in CMO/FMO, ended up last season with the highest rep out of all the managers, another player to watch.
Paul New Zealand's finest, is looking to return for his 2nd season. This much traveled Kiwi faces a tough challenge due to time different.
Sy is one of the longest serving players in the clan, but this will be his 1st full season in the Sunday game.
Andy now in this 2nd season, will be looking to shine this time.
Tez one of the last members to late in 2007, will be looking to improve, as we lost count on the times he was sacked.
Deano - makes his debut in 2008, welcome aboard mate.
After thoughts
in 2007 we knocked up 21 seasons went thru 32 players, this time we look to repeat that feat and hopefully use less players, As the key to a successful clan is a good group of lads and a honest and open host, and very very understanding wifes/girlfriends tip: buy them wine and loads of it.
So here’s to 2008
Please do not post in our thread asking to join, if we need players we will place an ad in the FMO - Clan Advertiser Thread
If you do then you can forget your chance of playing alongside us.

New Zealand being the backwards little country it is means my copy gets to me on Friday (fingers crossed) so depending on the New Zealand post (yes they ride sheep to deliever the mail) I will be making my debut for 2008 in the second session.
Was on mirc for the start and it was good to see the banter (Davie sledging) flowing again.
