Dean Thomas has walked out of Hinckley Utd after learning that former Nottm Forest and Rangers legend Davie Orr was in talking about becoming the new clubs manager.
speaking with Thomas at his Bedworth home he said " am totally gutted I've spent 10 years with the club and only missed out on going up to the Conference last season by losing in the final of play offs and this is how am treated, cast aside like a piece of crap"
We spoke to Kevin Downes and this is what he had to say "yes I've spoken to Davie Orr, but it wasn't about him taking over the club, he had got lost and was looking for Asda, I was giving him directions, explaining keep heading down Leicester road, then at the 1st crossroads turn right up Stoneygate drive, follow on thru turn left and there’s Asda.
Not a single word was spoken about Davie becoming our manager.
Davie Orr was unavailable for comment.
So Hinckley are now without Thomas the man who’s been at helm for the last 10 years, what’s next for the Knitters................
a short while later

Davie Orr has been officially named as the new Hinckley Utd manager.
Here’s some out-takes from our interview.
After the mix up over the job I felt it was only right I tried my hand at management, if you’re going to get the blame for something, F(beep)k you may as well just do it.
I've spoken with the board about a setting up a link with a league club in the aspect of loaning in players in order to move the club on, they got back to me with Derby, Leicester and Villa, I kindly told them I ain't working with any of those W(beep)s.
Six months ago Hinckley were arguably one of the best three teams in Conf North and that would include Boston United Kettering Town Tamworth and anybody else if you like.
With the foreign players it's more difficult. Most of them don't even bother with the golf, they don't want to go racing. They don't even drink, I ask what’s the point, where’s Chris Powlay number.
I need to speak with social services I’ve got a few granddads in my squad.
Well I need to bring in a few loan players, there’s no cash to spend and they ain't using mine.
I hear my old mate Steve G is at Barrow, canny wait to stuff them.
