Default Rotateing only a Layer?

How do you rotate a layer only. So far i've had to cut the layer out, rotate the canvas, paste thge layer back in, and re-rotate the canvas back to its originaly place. Is there any easier way to do this?

Default Rotateing only a Layer?

If you want more fun with transform, you've got to play with "transform a copy" and "transform again"...
