I had a head start on the restof you but I haven't been playing seriously mainly because my I can't really play the game the way I want to because of the scouting issues.

Anyway, it's the 7th October and my Barroe team sit 18th in Conference North.

Played 12
Won 2
Drawn 4
Lost 5
Goals scored 16
Goals against 21
Pts 13.

Super Kyle.
Games played 8
Goals scored 3.
Assists 4.
MOM awards 0.
Average rating 7.00.

I've got a Target Man in on loan from QPR and I've got a utiliity centre-half/Target Man who is poo too.

Chris Thompson has 2 goals from 2 games though so I scould be changing styles to fit him into the line-up.

The Target Man, (Bailey), has 5 goals, and Andrew Bond has 4 goals despite starting many games on the bench and playing at right back, centre midfield and right wing.

My name is Jim and I'm poo at FM08 .

End of October Update

Another month of doom and gloom

Heavy defeats at Stalybridge, AFC Telford and Nuneaton caused me to call a team meeting and rework my tactics. The immediate result was a 2-1 away win at Solihull Moors but it didn't last long as two injury time goals from Southport beat me 3-2.

Currently in 20th place in the league looking like relegation candidates.

Kyle Wilson grabbed a brace in the Setanta Shield loss but has failed to score in the league this month.

I wasn't expecting things to be this difficult, even though I haven't really spent much time in the transfer market and my tactics are still being worked on, I thought I'd be able to achieve the prediction of mid table. I wasn't expecting a relegation battle.

End of September Update

Kyle played 1 and 1 sub appearance and scored 1 goal in that for me.

The team is going from bad to worse, having just lost 1-0 to Maldon in the FA Cup qualifier.

Doesnt seem to matter what I am doing with regard tactics, the team is awful and sitting in 19th place with 10 points.

October update

I forgot to give a September update but i'll combine these 2 months together.

I feel lucky to say that i'm doing very well with Barrow in the league, currently in 2nd place and only 1 point off leaders Blyth. I've received manager of the month for both September and October. My tactic seems to be working at the moment and the players i've signed and captured on loan are performing well. Cups have been bad though, lost in first round of Setanta cup away to Alfreton and then after winning 6-2 in the FA cup 2nd qual. rnd. I go and lose to Witton after extra time.

Kyle Wilson

After grabbing a hat-trick against Billericay, i decided it was time to give him some league games, and he's performed well scoring a few goals in the process. He seems to get better every game so hopefully he can score some more in November.
