I know what you mean! Though I am no where near the playoffs...struggling in relegation.

We can't seem to kill teams off - we regularly go a goal ahead early in the first half, but during the second half we just seem to let the opposition come at us, no matter what formation we are playing, and end up drawing or losing the games!

And this seems to be making my players a little frustrated - getting quite indisciplined now with pushes, shoves and a couple of headbutts getting my guys sent off!!

End of season one, and up through the playoffs!

Playoff winners!
League table
The Squad

I think next season will be difficult as I'll have to replace my Palace Loanees. Although my contract has given me £35k in the transfer market to play with so hopefully can bring in some youngsters to train up!

Yup that was the problem. Histories are fine for me now, although either they start as of now, or there is a 6 year gap! lol. Thanks, i'll go report this to the bugs forum for when Vista becomes more popular.

Swansea, you're next...
Congratulations, hopefully you'll get a better start than I did in the conference. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Ta mate. Things improved after your start?

To sumarise my last season:

Merthyr Tydfil 2008/2009

After spending my first season finding a decent team (and finishing near relegation as a result) I looked to push towards the playoffs. Close season meant I worked my three scouts as hard as possible trying to find improvements to my team. Those who were considered better than those I already had didn't want to come, but by offering them the highest wages I could, a couple joined.

With my first season being blighted by an inability to score (I had the lowest goals scored in the leage) I concentrated on some quality strikers, and my new strike pair repaid me with 26 and 18 goals. With Dag & Red running away with the league, I spent the season bouncing around the play-off spots, before beating Farnborough and Grays for promotion.

Hopefully I'll be able to follow the same pattern in the Conference, stabilising in the first year, then pushing for promotion.

I dont seem to be in as bad of a possition as you. I just had a match against a team like you, won 5-0 and them ending up with 10 men and giving away 3 penelties

I've made a push fo the top of the league now with a 6 game unbeaten run, although my players like Jonny Kaufmans can't create any chances in most games

I've picked up a couple of wins but I'm still struggling towards the bottom of the league. I've had a lot of 1-0 losses, so I'm hopeful I can still turn things round.

Good luck. I imagine I'll be the same (if I'm lucky).

Yeah conference is a lot harder.

I've started the season with both main and backup fullbacks injured so am playing 3-5-2 and getting whomped.
