| Doesn't this mean clubs come up with squads of greys/mainly greys? Its your challenge, but this WILL make it easier, and starting with a full squad of poor players is more realistic.

Whitby Town 2007/08
recently promoted Whitby Town gave their fans a day of suprise whenthey anninced Martin Allen as their new manager, with media in the press confrence stunned and shocked they then near fainted when they saw some unknown rookie sit enter the room and sit down at the managers seat at the press confrence
The opening press confrecne of the new season not only brought the suprise of a new manager but also Chairman Laurie Holmes is looking to sell the side as he feels the club needs more to go further
also the pre season schedule was annonced, main games of intrest stand out against Doncaster but Allen shocked fans by as chairman revealed MK dons as a pre season oppostion speaking out and saying he is refusing to play them due to his stance against the team and what happend to Wimbledon, the friendly is now expected to be cancelled with the manager reumoured to be asking AFC Wimeldon if they would like a match onthat day
In the final news the club revelaed the link with Scarborough will remain for the next season and that alen will be gievn a small wage budget of about £3,000 to build his squad on

| Merthyr Tydfil are Welsh, making it a bit more interesting. I started a game with them, but can't use it for this challenge as I loaded other leagues, inlcluding the Welsh league so I could play in the Welsh Premier Cup. Also updated a bit of Charlton data, which goes against another rule  | |

Unfortunately, yes. But due to the long term nature of this challenge, I've tried to make it so it will run fairly quickly on most machines, especially my old laptop  | |
