Default New Site #2

Hi all,

Working on site #2. I think it is about 95% complete. Is there anything you like or dislike? I try to keep any site I build as simple to use as possible... the KISS theroy. The gallery will be updated and the store is live however, a few additions on the way. Not fully ready to replace the old site.

On the main page the images rotate out when you refresh. The store and gallery are going to be updated by the owner. Very happy about that. If anyone is in the market for an easy to configure shopping cart/site.... Sunshop is hard to beat for the price.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks all.

I'm a strong supporter of the KISS design aesthetic in web pages! Your new site looks good. The only thing I wondered was whether a thin wood frame around the upper title banner would tie the whole thing into the display case idea. When you look at the display cases in miniature, they appear to be more wooden frames than cases because the depth is lacking. Your upper banner has a great background composite implying the cases' functions. Would a frame increase that implication?

Thanks Wells,

Will give your ideas a try and see how they turn out. Didn't want to go nuts with the wood since the original site looks like a block of wood. [shhh]

Thanks for the comments. Hatch :}
